A wonderfully comfortable, clean and tranquil ‘ home away from home’, with beautiful elevated views of the surrounding area, this was a most restful and welcoming place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts had added many thoughtful touches, including a basket of books in the study and i spent a very happy couple of hours in the sun reading about herb gardens ( which has always been an interest of mine). A really delightful, restorative stay. Thank you.

With all we needed, it fostered a cozy home atmosphere - imagine savouring a glass of wine on the balcony and sharing heartfelt conversations with loved ones as the refreshing ocean breeze surrounds you. It has truly become one of our treasured reasons to return to Napier.

We found the house really easily and the facilities were great. We loved having the bbq to use and the washing machine and dryer. Would highly recommend staying at this place was great. Also space for 3-4 people to stay with ensuites off both double bedrooms.

What a beautiful stay! Great communication from Megan. The house was immaculate, modern and warm! Winter pyjamas definitely not needed! Super handy location to everything, only a quick drive to the towns centre. Really appreciated the games cupboard, one less thing I had to pack for the kids! Thanks Megan, will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

A wonderful, central base for our Taupō long weekend visit. Easy to access, from several routes, convenient to amenities, and central Taupō. Nice clean and comfortable home with all necessary facilities when travelling with family. Great communications when required with our host.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house has a lovely terrace with great views of Napier and Hawke’s Bay, and is comfortable and well furnished. We were within easy walking distance of the central business district with access to great restaurants and retail. Christine was very helpful and very quick with responses to our questions. What a lovely place to stay! Big spacious home that feels very homely. Great communication with Be My guest. As mentioned in the description though, it is indeed a very tight driveway and carport to get in and out!! We have a Toyota highlander with a bike rack on the back and we just made it through. We tried to park in the carport (without the bike rack on) but it was so hard getting around that extremely tight corner that we just parked in front of the house for the rest of our stay and backed out of the driveway. Off-street parking is only an option during the day or further away as there are signs that you aren't allowed to park along the road overnight. The place is in a great location, the lake is just across the road, coffee carts about 50m away and to town it's only about a 10-15min walk. We had a great stay and would definitely be staying again.

What a gem! This place was great, amazing value for the location. Hot tub a total bonus and a hot water beach just metres away was a real hit with our kids. Handy walk to town. Great space for a family. Highly recommend, we will absolutely be back another time!

Overall it was ok. But due to the one shower not working and the other having no pressure, and the bathroom having no real door just a curtian into the kitchen and a glass back door, the place was really wonky

We came for the Ironman Worlds 70.3 race. It was walkable to the Ironman village and the city center! Amazing location. Very quiet even though there are neighbors. The beds were very comfy and the shower had amazing water pressure. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Fiona and Nigel were very friendly hosts making me feel welcomed into their home . My accommodation had everything I needed and it was an ideal location for me attending a conference at the local school . It was a super comfortable bed and I had many good nights sleep.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Sjouke's place. It was beautiful, kitchen really well supplied, lovely deck area and so clean. We wished that we had more time to hang out there and enjoy it during the day! Sjouke is a wonderful and responsive host. Thoroughly recommend and would love to stay again.

Stunning!! Wow this place really took our breath away! We couldn't believe that all this space was for us! The lake view was mesmerising! There was everything we could possibly need and then some! Jonathan was really a super host! Great communication before, during and after our stay. We can't wait to plan our next trip and hopefully we can book this place again. We just loved it!!

Lake family getaway with lake & mountain views

We spent 1 night at Ana's home wish we could of stayed longer. Her home had lots of room for our big group, it was well equipped, warm and clean, within easy driving distance to town. Absolutely loved the view of the lake & Mt ruapehu.
