Well located within a few mins drive from the marina - that’s where you have all the Lake Taupo boat cruises launching from . Well appointed unit and adequate space for a couple on a short visit . We also appreciate the basic breakfast supplies that Mel included with the stay . All in all , we have a very comfortable 1 night stay and are glad we booked this place .

We had a lovely stay at this private and peaceful place. The surrounds were simply stunning and it was great to be able to enjoy the outdoors undercover on the deck - even when it was raining. Also very fortunate to have been able to bring our dog with us.

I had an amazing stay at Kristy’s cozy tiny house! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake, which made it even more special. Her dog, Maze, was an absolute delight – playful and friendly, making my time there even more enjoyable. Kristy herself was a wonderful host, taking the time to have a great conversation that made me feel right at home. She truly goes above and beyond – definitely superhost worthy! I’d love to come back again!

Lovely place to stay. Comfortable room and beautiful property. We enjoyed visiting the animals and using the hot tub. FYI pool is only heated after labour days Wish we had stayed another night.

This venue was exactly what we were after. It is rustic, and cozy, and it was what we were expecting. It is dog friendly, which was great because we took our German shepherd. The bathroom is spacious and well set up. We kept our luggage there as well. The kitchenette had everything we needed: jug, microwave, electric frying pan, and outside at the wine bar a weber BBQ and an air fryer. Pete was fantastic and stocked the fridge with bacon, eggs, bread and butter, and a bottle of wine. It was incredibly thoughtful and generous of him, and we were delighted to make bacon and egg butties one cold morning! Pete also left a bag of dog treats which our girl would've devoured except she has a tightly controlled diet due to allergies. Again though, so incredibly thoughtful! Pete had also set up the brazier ready for a fire, with plenty of wood. We had two lovely evenings outside by the fire! Pete is a kind and thoughtful host, and so helpful! Would highly recommend.

Stunning location right on the beach front, surf break out front, an absolute paradise. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing spot, with multiple indoor and outdoor areas to relax, a spa overlooking the ocean, we had a great stay thank you! The property manager Kaz was very responsive. Spa was awesome but needed some TLC. Multiple security camera's felt slightly invasive.

Van was a great host, very friendly and loved the story that came with the house ! Beautiful fresh bread & eggs is always appreciated & the house was full of charm. We really enjoyed our stay thank you for having us !

This is a great place to try out a tiny home adventure. It has a beautiful plot with an amazing view over the river valley. These deck and living space both share the view with full size folding doors. It is a tiny house so visitors should be ready for that, and it’s an amazing setting. Also very close to wineries and minutes from Havelock North center with plenty of places to eat.

Dawn is a super star host. The space was beautiful, and every detail was thoughful. My daughter was very eager to look around and Dawn was so sweet and took her on a tour. Not one complaint could be made, although my daughter would say there was, she only wished we were staying longer! Thanks again!

Great place, exactly as advertised, extra touches such as breakfast foods, fruit, sweet treats etc. Friendly hosts, would happily stay again.

Beautiful place to stay - easy to access, lovely and private and beautiful beds, furniture and amenities. Everything is thought through and exactly where you need it. The weather shifted during our week and the pods were super warm and cosy. Great family home for the week.

We absolutely loved our Easter weekend away at Tessa's place. It was just what the mind, body and soul needed! I do wish we stayed for longer! Super cute accommodation, with everything you need. Tessa was a great host with handy recommendations and lovely chat. We felt like we were staying with family friends. Highly recommend a stay at Tessa's for some peaceful rest and relaxation!

Very tranquil and private place to stay. Thanks heaps Paul for the homemade toast (my wee one enjoyed it so much). Close to Napier city (10mins drive) and lots of good restaurants within short drive distance. We walked our dog to the beach in the morning and everything was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay around Napier.

Grant and Marise were friendly and great. They knew we would be late arriving and popped the heater on to warm the cottage. It was wonderful waking up to the bird life each morning.

This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

Louise is a fantastic host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Louise provided clear instructions, was flexible to our arrival time, provided great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and quiet, a short drive to Napier or Hastings. The space is warm and comfortable, everything was tidy and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the space feels homely. Thank you for having us, the dogs were awesome too!
