Vacation rentals with lake access in Hawke's Bay

It was a great clean place and I would stay there but Airbnb stop inundating my email for a survey. I don't so surveys, the only time I do them is if the place was bad. But the constant emails for surveys is really annoying.

We only stayed 1 night but definitely would of loved to stay longer. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large family. Kelly was great with communication and very helpful when we had some trouble with the front door lock. We highly recommend Kelly and her property.

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers stayed here after an overnight tramp- Edward’s place was 5 star luxury!! The shower is awesome, there’s a washing machine and dryer, a SMEG dishwasher, SMEG oven and a fridge that makes ice! All the appliances and fittings are high-quality. Everything feels really nice. Lovely beds and linen. Awesome view from the deck. Essentials like oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and coffee plunger are in the well kitted out kitchen. We enjoyed cooking a hearty meal playing cards and watching a movie. It is minutes from Lake Waikaremoana great walk start or finish- perfect location.!

We all loved our stay, super comfortable beds and quality linen. So close to the stunning riverside walks and cycle paths. Very cosy and perfect for a family group as it had 2 bathrooms. Loved the bush views, super keen to come back again. Very responsive and friendly host. The best property we've stayed in for ages., thank you.

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

Beautiful modern and clean apartment conveniently located providing privacy and all day sun. The aircon came in handy too. Very well equipped kitchen including condiments, gladwrap etc and various cooking and serveware. Laundry facilities were also well equipped including a laundry basket, pegs and clothes line. Also included board games which the kids loved. Pool was perfect for the summer heat. Beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Amazing lake side apartment - the pool was a game changer it was heated, the kids had multiple swims each day. Great location, tidy apartment and super comfy beds - we will be back :)

Lloyd was a great host. Always responsive and very welcoming. The apartment was clean and cozy. It was the perfect location, close to town and great views! Highly recommend and would definitely come back for our next stay in Taupō!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here, so much space and incredible views!! The highlight was definitely the spa looking out to the lake at night. Super convenient having our own garage too!

We had a great stay at Pam’s house in Taupo. The house was the perfect setup for our family of 4 with plenty of space to holiday in comfort. The house was very modern, clean and spacious - very comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need to holiday away from home. Location was great - easy to get to and from town with just a short car trip away. From the house you can also spend time eating outside in the garden or walking down the steps to the river - great for children. Thank you for the warm welcome and having us stay. A place we will happily book again.

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the property was really lovely . The property was in a really good location - easily walkable to the centre but in a really pretty spot by the river and near the Marina and so felt like you were in a peaceful and quiet location. The property was really well maintained - modern design , very light , well furnished , good kitchen with all the appliances etc that you could need. Very clean and tidy. Air con in living room and in bedroom at bottom of house. Note that basic cooking staples ( oil , herbs etc) not included. Not a problem for us but just mentioning so you can bring your own if you want to cook. We really enjoyed the area - loads to do. Overall we were really happy.

Kirsty is absolutely awesome! Her communication was excellent, and everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. I’m honestly a bit jealous and almost don’t want to share this gem of a location because it’s so perfect—I’m afraid too many people will discover it and ruin the peaceful vibe! I had an amazing 5 days here. The cottage is incredibly peaceful, right next to the lake, with reliable internet and no phone signal distractions. If you’re looking to write a book, set goals, do research, or just recharge, this is hands down the best place ever. I’m definitely coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to lake front. We loved the bach feel and admired the decor - ample books, DVDs and family board games to keep you entertained, and a classic table tennis table! Clean, tidy home to enjoy.
