The Granary at Coes Vineyard, East Sussex

GeorgeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

Evegate Manor Barn

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Larissa was really accommodating and had great communication in the lead up to our stay. The barn and surrounding area were lovely. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was great! Very comfortable bed and a great night sleep, despite the heatwave temperatures which were outside of anyone’s control! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around the area.

Cooden Cottage - Seaside retreat, pets welcome

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful week at Easter at Cooden Cottage. Ella was amazing and even helped us find a lost dog! The house is spotless, and beyond our expectations. The flow of the downstairs through to an amazing kitchen, conservatory and completely fenced garden was perfect for us and our two large dogs and we had several family get togethers in the garden, surrounded by greenery. The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent with plenty is space. We met Ella twice and it is clear that she is passionate about giving her guests a really special experience, from thoughtful touches to all rooms to a lovely welcome pack. While there, she wants her guests to feel that it is space and she completely achieved that. We felt at home and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Plantagenet: A Historic Country Cottage with Pool

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

Escape to quality and peace in East Sussex.

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

Thatched Cottage Kent hideaway 3 Bed HotTub Haven!

OlgaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Willow Cottage, Hot tub & Coastline views, Rye

NaziaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Nina's in the Easter holiday with our two younger children. All of us were left enchanted by her beautiful home! we would love to revisit in the near future. The living room and open plan kitchen was perfect for our family. We enjoyed eating our meals with the garden doors wide open. I must say the garden stole the show with it's spacious hot tub! It's situated in such a mesmerising location where you look out to fields. Sheep can be heard constantly- something my three year old absolutely loved! We miss the serenity of the countryside and the beautiful views from the house! Definitely worth a visit! The surrounding areas are simply superb!

The Hideout - in the heart of Ashdown Forest

Kloe-NicoleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Staying at Jo’s cottage was so pleasant and blissful. It was the perfect weekend away. I stayed with my pup and we were both comfortable and secure. I brought groceries with me to cook but the cottage had coffee, tea, olive oil, and a few bits of seasonings which I think was a really thoughtful touch and so useful. The kitchen has everything you need! The secure front garden was also ideal and perfect for letting the dog out and not being worried about him wandering off. It’s also a really beautiful spot to sit and read or enjoy some breakfast or lunch if the sun is out. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful. It’s the best location if you’re a single person looking for a place to stay and enjoy nature.

Hazel Tree Cottage. A secluded country retreat.

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a charming, secluded retreat that feels surprisingly remote given its accessibility from London. We were warmly welcomed by Claudia and her partner who were on hand for any issues (there weren’t any) but left us to our own devices. We appreciated the thoughtful breakfast goods they left for us, outdoor toys which our toddler loved and the cottage itself is very comfortable and stylishly fitted out. Very comfortable for our dog as well with a field to run in and securely fenced area that the cottage opened up to. Highly recommend!

Oak Framed Mini Barn

SteveRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I had a fabulous stay with my dog,the views are incredible and the surrounding countryside is so beautiful, lovely woodlands and meadows to explore,we walked for miles and definitely want to go back to see more of the area, great for wildlife, deer, rabbits,Buzzard,Barn Swallows, also heard a Yellowhammer if that’s your sort of thing. Romy was great host, very friendly and was available when needed but not intrusive, had lots of info on local life and popped round to help when I couldn’t get the cooker working, she soon sorted it out. Not too far to drive into Hastings,St Leonard’s or Bexhill on sea for the beaches or town. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to going back sometime soon.

The Stables at Boreham House

We had a fabulous stay at Sara’s place and felt right at home from the minute we arrived. It was a great location for short distance driving to Knockhatch Adventure Park and also to get into Hastings for the day. The attention to detail in The Stables was just lovely - everything has been carefully thought about and parking right outside too. The beds were super comfy and we wish we could’ve have stayed longer. Sara and Simon were great hosts - we couldn’t recommend highly enough!!

Cosy self catering cottage near Rye

CeriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely time staying here as a family of four. It's a lovely little place, really well located for multiple sights (we went to Bodiam, Battle, Rye, Winchelsea - all really easily reached from the cottage) and thoughtfully provided for. The kitchen is particularly well provided for. The one thing I thought could be better was the shower, but this is a very, very minor niggle when we were generally very happy indeed with the stay. Marie-Claire was a good host who sent us useful tips before we arrived and was communicative during the stay.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend in the Byre. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The log burner made it feel particularly cosy in the evenings. Jenny sent out comprehensive information leading up to our booking and responded to messages promptly. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Caroline’s studio cottage, in the grounds of her beautiful home, was just delightful. We chose it for its proximity to the Gusbourne vineyard but it was also an excellent base for other local attractions including Battle, Rye and Camber sands. We loved having breakfast in the small courtyard outside the cottage, and the interior was furnished very tastefully. Caroline was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property.

The Find Holiday Cottage

DonellaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A gorgeous little cottage tucked away just a few minutes walk from High St and two public car parks. Lesley keeps the cottage immaculate and with all you need for a short break. Very communicative and friendly lady and I would not hesitate to recommend this place. Probs a little too small for four people but ideal for two or three as only one bathroom. The bedrooms were lovely and Lesley supplies fans if weather gets hot outside. WiFi not working while we were there but as we were out most of the time it wasn’t too much of a problem. Lesley was kind enough to come over to try and resolve the WiFi issue. No success but hopefully it will be working for future guests. The Find is a home from home and I would def stay again. A little gem x Ps recommend Simply Italian and The Fig to eat out. And a visit to Winchelsea to see Spike Milligans grave and look inside the gorgeous interior of St Thomas Church. Also don’t miss out of visiting Great Dixter House and gardens. ❤️

Stunning Camber Sands holiday retreat

AdrianRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The location was great - Camber Sands beautiful beach is less than 10 mins walk away. The nearest town, Rye, is a few mins drive - it is picturesque with lots to see and some pretty, independent shops and nice restaurants. The accommodation was one of the best I’ve rented on Airbnb. It was comfortable, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and tidy, and spacious. Everything worked, it was well equipped, and the view out over the fields at the back of the property was awesome. The hosts were great too - proactive, welcoming, responsive and easy-going. Clearly experienced and considerate of what people are looking for from their stay. Overall 10/10 and I might go back!!
