Monthly Rentals in Hartsop

Just got back from a brilliant stay at Mill Moss Barn. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful - full of character, tastefully furnished, extremely well-quipped, comfortable and immaculately clean. It was such a pleasant place to base ourselves for a little holiday in beautiful Ullswater - a very welcome haven after a busy day of Lake District sight-seeing! Comfy beds and lovely warm bedding (being an old barn it got chilly at night, but great heating in place plus the fire), beautiful location and generally just such a treat to stay at. Michael the host was very communicative and prompt. We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend.

The Dairy is the perfect getaway spot in The Lakes - lots of beautiful walking and scenery right on the doorstep. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for your stay - we were particularly grateful for the abundance of firewood provided (a touch not found everywhere with a stove!). Our two dogs absolutely loved the garden space and we could enjoy time in the garden without worry due to it being fully enclosed. When we required some assistance, help was only a phone call away - Sean was a great help and a fantastic host, thank you! Don’t think twice about booking The Dairy - it is a true Lakeland gem!

A wonderful stay in a lovely cottage for the two of us, our two dogs and four relatives over from Australia. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, without being too 'fussy'. An excellent location, well suited for the Oz lot who 'did' Helvellyn and for us and the dogs who did the more sedate Gowbarrow. Everything you could need was there and the enclosed garden was great for the dogs. Thanks to the owners (who called us on the first evening to check all was well). Very highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.
