Knott House Farm is in a wonderful little house. Location wise it is an easy walk in to Keswick and the lake. Many great walks near by, we did Skiddaw which is out the back plus there is a pub over the road which did good evening meals and a cafe at the bottom of the garden which did great breakfasts. All in all very good.

Barn in Cumbria
4.97 out of 5 average rating, 29 reviewsLangway
EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovingly restored property with oodles of internal space for 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 children). The high ceilings, exposed beams and the veluxe windows with views of the sky were particular highlights. Langway has all the amenities inside you could need and more. Lovely to have an air bnb place that has the key bits in the kitchen that make life a bit easier when you're only a way a short period and haven't bought absolutely everything with you - cling/foil/condiments/ squash. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Beds and bedding were really comfy. Sofas not super comfy, but we didn't spend long say on them as we were mainly out exploring. Not far to Kendal and to Windemere by car. Langway has limited outside space, but we knew that on booking and the little courtyard with table and chairs was enough for us. It does face on to the lane, but the lane is exceedingly quiet with only a handful of cars ever passing. Overall, would definitely recommend!

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. Itās tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We shall return again soon !!

This is a great place. We couldāve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didnāt use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.
