Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hardangerfjord

Et nydelig sted, nær siderutene i Apalvegen og herlig ved fjorden. Alt var i topp klasse, og godt utstyr både inne og ved uteområdet. Vi er seks damer som har storkost oss.

Wir waren uns einig, dass auf unserer 3 wöchigen Norwegenreise die Unterkunft von Marta eindeutig die schönste war. Wie andere Gäste schon geschrieben haben, war der Ausblick von der Wohnung auf den Fjord und den Gletscher atemberaubend und noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Marta war eine sehr nette und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Die Ausstattung in Wohnung und Küche hat bei uns keinen Wunsch offen gelassen. Und auch für meine Frau, die leider kurz vorher krank geworden ist, hätte es keinen besseren Ort geben können, da es genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten gab und sie wieder schnell gesund werden konnte. Unser Sohn hat den Platz und die Spielsachen in der Wohnung auch geliebt. Die Gegend in Hardanger ist sowieso unglaublich schön und von dort aus lässt sich innerhalb von 45 Minuten unglaublich viel schöne Natur erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei Marta und ihrem Mann Mekjell für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Rosendal, naturen, fjellene, kulturen, været. Alt var fantastisk. Tinghuset, vertskapet Anita og Dag og badeplassen likeså. Vi hadde en strålende langhelg og savnet ingen ting. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake...

Such a lovely little house! Everything was just so, and we were as cozy as could be. Don't shrug off the mentions of the steep and narrow stairs inside the house -- they really are as described! We walked to the place from the light rail stop with our luggage, and it was about a 15-minute walk, mostly uphill. It was manageable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Assurément l’un de mes plus beaux logements loués sur airbnb. La maison décorée avec soins les pieds dans l’eau, le calme, la gentillesse de Torstein et Ida . Nous sommes à l’opposé des boites à clé anonymes qui se multiplient partout . Je recommande à 100%

Das Haus ist sehr modern renoviert und schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war super bequem, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Lage am See war super ruhig und perfekt zum abschalten. Uns hat es dort gefallen, allerdings könnte das Haus an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas Liebe vertragen. Die Kommunikation mit Benjamin war super und er hat schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert.

I am convinced this is the best cabin in all of the fjords! The location simply cannot be beat and the cabin was so thoughtfully built and furnished. I traveled here with my husband and two children (6 & 8) and it was the perfect size. Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We opted to use the boat one day and are so glad we did. It allowed us to see the fjords in a unique and personal way. Amazing memories getting up close with nature. There isn’t a single thing I would change about this place. We met the owner and his son who were very courteous. The owner gave us the recommendation to drive the snow road which we did - it had only recently opened. We were so grateful for the recommendation. Book it, you won’t regret it.

This place is extraordinary. We felt right at home at Stina’s house and enjoyed the quiet, beautiful surroundings. Its location makes it great to enjoy both outdoor acitivities and Bergen, since it’s easy to reach by car. We absolutely loved it and it was hard to leave.

The stay at Liv's place was superb! From her friendly welcome to her clean and exceptionally equipped apartment, everything felt just like home. Highly recommend!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Apartment mit fantastischem Ausblick auf die Berge und den Wasserfall! Nachts konnten wir bei offenem Fenster schlafen und dem Rauschen des Wasserfalls lauschen. Zudem war insbesondere die Küche bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben uns in Espens Wohnung rundum wohl gefühlt und können dieses Airbnb zweifellos weiterempfehlen!

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Très beau logement, spacieux, moderne, d'une propreté impeccable, situé dans un joli hameau de montagne très calme et facile d'accès. Gunlaug nous a accueillies de façon très sympathique. Nous garderons un super souvenir de ce logement. Nous le recommandons vivement.

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

We had a wonderful stay and really didn’t want to leave! The apartment was very cozy and the view was just stunning 😍 Bjorn was a great host and we felt at home immediately!

Wir waren 4 Nächte in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung. Begrüsst wurden wir sehr nett von Gunnbjørg, die uns alles gezeigt hat. Direkt am Fjord und umgeben von Bergen findet man hier Ruhe und Erholung. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Es gibt verschiedene schöne Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Wir schauten uns den Buarbreen und das Bondhusvatnet an. Beides ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

nonostante non ci sia stata l'occasione di incontrarci personalmente l'host sicuramente e'attenta e precisa nel far trovare la casa ordinatissima, pulitissima e dotata di tutto l'occorrente in cucina per un soggiorno piacevole.

The photos can’t capture the beauty that’s right outside your window when you stay here! The space itself was beautiful. Anna was so thoughtful and kind and made great recommendations while not being intrusive at all. Just the absolute best and definitely a highlight of our Scandinavian tour! You can walk up to the waterfall you can see right out the back door and I highly recommend doing so! There are so many places around the area to see and so many tours out of Flam. I recommend the floating sauna experience. This was the perfect countryside break after visiting Scandinavian cities. Loved it!

Flott liten leilighet med god utsikt, fint plassert i forhold til skitrekket. Mulig å gå til trekket, men kan fort bli litt svett av gåturen😅 Leiligheten hadde alt vi som en gruppe på 3 voksne kunne hatt behov for. Anbefales videre!

Great home with perfect location, lots of space and great views. But what really stood out was Roxana’s friendly hosting-style, quick responsiveness, helpful recommendations (above and beyond those required by an air bnb host), and overall great attitude. Very much enhanced our trip. Thank you!

Fantastic location, just a short walk to restaurants, attractions, and grocery stores. The living room and kitchen get beautiful sunlight after midday, which warms the space and makes it feel extra special, especially with the charming little balcony. Despite being so close to the city’s highlights, the apartment is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot that feels very private. Mathilde was incredibly responsive from the beginning, went above and beyond to accommodate our additional requests, and truly helped make our stay in beautiful Bergen as a family of four smooth and memorable.

It was wonderful to stay here, we really enjoyed our time here. The place was super beautiful, and she had two super sweet cats walking around outside :)

This is a beautiful small apartment that is perfect for 1-2 people. It was spotless and well equipped. The location was perfect. Everything you could need is close by and the parking garage we used was behind the apartment and easy to access. Great experience.

We only thought about traveling in the morning, but the reservation of the apartment was quick. The hostess immediately responded, with detail how to go to the right address, stating that the GPS did not always take it accurately. The apartment is neat, cozy, has all the essential equipment inside. In the kitchen you will find all the essentials, as well as coffee, tea, spices. The shower is spacious, bright, warm. There is a TV, if it is relevant, there is Youtube and Netflix. The hostess made recommendations on what to visit in Odda, very kind and caring, and you can ask everything. We are very satisfied.
