Welcome to a real log house, which is built after many hundred year old building desks in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You will have lovely bed linen, lots of pillows and lots of soft towels. The walls are logs and all floors are solid wood pine floor with heating cables. You can park several cars for free on the property and in the garage and you will be able to enjoy lovely views of the great nature. Bergen is only 25 minutes away. There are 5 beds in the house and 2 mattresses. An experience!

We are now back after a break due to maintenance. Enjoy a spectacular view from Birdbox, located on top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When the wind blows on the sea you can see white sea spray up the islets and reefs all the way west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can go to the bird box from the shore. Det en utedo knyttet til hytta, men den som leier hytta vil også ha tilgang på delt bad og kjøkken i hovedhuset på Vikinghaug. This is the place to rent if you want a very special romantic and primitive stay with absolutely outstanding views. This is a small cabin with double bed. Shared kitchen, toilet and bathroom in the main house.

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Beautiful hiking terrain! If you want to walk the Queen's Trail, you can start from the house on foot! Good fishing opportunities. About 25 min by car from the house to the starting point parking to Trolltunga! Good shoes and clothes are essential for all walks in this area!
