Vacation rentals with a patio in Hancock

When we ever return to Houghton/Hancock MI we’ll be sure to book this place. It was basically perfect.

Great for snowmobilers, about 1-2 blocks from direct access to trail 14 - no need to trailer. Room to park trailer and sleds. Close to fuel stop. Restaurants within walking distance, or off trail. Nice cozy and clean place, more room than typical hotel room with kitchen amenities.

Perfect location to visit Coast Guard friends at nearby base! Clean, quiet, private setting with everything we needed for a weekend away.

The building used to be a school and is still an active community center. The place isn't really renovated beyond the essentials. Most of the building is unchanged and still looks just like the 1930s school it once was, and inside the room there is still school furniture all over and blackboards and a bell on the wall... it really feels like you're stepping into a scene in Copper Country history mostly frozen in time, but with some modern amenities dropped in through a time machine. 10/10.

I highly recommend this place! My dog loved the fenced in backyard. The home was beautiful, squeaky clean and in perfect location near trails. The bed is SUPER comfy. As a solo traveler I felt safe & I enjoyed the layout of the house. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook & the washer/dryer was nice to use. Oh and the host was super quick to respond to my texts & was extremely accommodating to my questions. I’ll certainly be back. They even shoveled snow for me!

Very inventive use of space. Plenty of room for doing yoga. Lots to do in the area. We were there for an anniversary getaway, and they even had a card and some sparkling apple juice with champagne glasses for us! We liked being part of the effort to restore this historic building. It might be worth noting that there are lots of stairs and no elevators. My spouse has a bad knee, but we managed. It does reference the fact that this is on the third floor in the write-up, I think I just didn't think about the fact that there might not be an elevator. This was a good value and we were very happy with our stay.

My son's and I had an amazing snowmobile adventure and Joni's property was perfect! it was beautiful, smelled brand new and Joni was awesome in responding when we had questions about local referrals. Thank you for adding to the wonderful memories that were created with my son's. We look forward to staying with you again!

Great stay in Houghton. Close to the Tech trails and easy to get downtown. Cozy and clean home. Mike is friendly, responsive, and helpful.

This house was perfect for our family visiting our kid. The kitchen and living space worked well for cooking dinner and hanging out with our kid and his friends after a good day of skiing. Communications were clear and we had a comfortable stay.

Place was comfortable and well organized, private and had all necessary amenities for a good stay away from home.

This was my 3rd or 4th time staying here and it was again a great place to stay! Highly recommend!!

Above & beyond with my booking error and not thinking through my husband working remote. I SO appreciate how you were just ‘on it’ to help me. We stayed here last Oct. and honestly, we’ll book our visits around their availability. Beds are comfy cozy, plenty of space for family dinner & game nights and crafts.

Our stay was a top-notch experience! Here is a list of the features we loved! 1) Extremely easy check-in/ check-out with simple to instructions 2) Large spacious bedrooms (3 large king rooms and 1 room with twin bed and private bath) 3) Beautiful hardwood floors (both smooth and clean - great to stretch out on after a hard day of riding) 4) The bathrooms were plentiful (3 half baths and 1 master bath - no one needed to wait for a restroom!) 5) Dining area had plenty of seating to eat, converse, and play cards! 6) The living room was furnished with comfortable furniture that was arranged in a fashion that encouraged socializing with your group in a relaxing environment (dinner, movie, playing cards, etc). Top Notch - Best in Class accommodations for those wanting to stay in the Calumet Area!!!!

What can I say the views were beautiful! When I first waked in everything was clean and spotless. The back deck was a nice to sit and look out at the lake! I’ll have to say the couch was super comfortable, beds were also! I would definitely recommend staying here I’m going to have to come back up in the summer! Go check this place out!
