Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hambantota

It was a nice place to stay with nature friendly environment. This place had everything you need for a big group. Highlight of the stay was the home made delicious food cooked by care takers ( food needs to be ordered separately and she has stated that on the listing). They managed to organize a safari trip for us with a short notice. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for having us.

Our stay as a family with 2 young children at Shaka House was simply wonderful. Our host Donna was very helpful and responsive to any queries we had. She facilitated airport pick ups and safari excursions and the team who cook breakfast and provide housekeeping were just amazing and so kind to our children. The house is located 5 mins walk from both Hiri and Dikwella beach with shops, cafes and restaurants all close by, yet when you’re at the house it feels very peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts cooked for us each morning were a highlight and we also had a couple of evening meals at Shaka House which were equally delicious. The beds were super comfy, AC in bedrooms worked really well and the pool was great. I highly recommend!

Khomba was a beautiful place to stay! The rooms were nice and cool- beds comfy and showers wonderful. The whole property was peaceful and in a great location. The host and her staff were incredibly attentive. It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of crashing waves and bird song and then to be able to go right outside for a morning swim in the pool or ocean. My family is already dreaming of our next stay.

The Green House is a little oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Sri Lanka. Immaculately presented with three great bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, the house is clean and modern. All the staff involved in looking after us and the house were also a real delight - so accommodating and helpful in every aspect. a short walk to a wonderful beach which the kids loved made this one of the best places that we stayed in during our whole trip. Thank you everyone at The Green House!

Excellent séjour, la maison est parfaite beaucoup de charme très agréable à vivre. C’était au delà de nos espérances. Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Cependant, nous restons un peu déçu car l’extension derrière la maison (avec piscine, cuisine extérieure, cabane dans les arbres et brasero) casse le charme authentique de la Yellow house originel. Nous avions choisis ce logement pour son authenticité et son côté local mais l’extension ajoutée par la suite rend le logement « typique » pour les touristes, ce qui est surprenant par rapport à l’atmosphère du lieu. De plus, les deux maisons sont communicantes donc chaque espaces ne sont pas clairement définis. Nous n’avons pas eu de problème sur ce point car les autres guest étaient très discret. Cependant, un peu dommage que certains espaces communs soient partagés (ex : le jardin devant la Yellow house). Pour finir, la Yellow house originel (sans piscine) est superbe et vaut vraiment le coup si vous recherchez un logement de caractère !

Pour commencer nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rester dans ce logement en raison d’une erreur de date. Toutefois, l’hôte très proactif nous a proposé un autre logement tout aussi beau et encore plus grand au même tarif ( Villa Hiru Sindu). À quelques minutes à pied de la plage, cette villa offre un jardin et un espace vert verdoyant et calme. Nous avons même aperçu des singes sur les arbres fruitiers de la propriété. D’ailleurs, il nous faut mentionner la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui habite à quelques mètres de la maison. Elle nous a accueilli avec un immense sourire et des jus frais de son jardin. Pour un séjour de dernière minute nous étions très bien ! Il faut toutefois noter qu’il n’y a pas de filet à moustiques au dessus des lits ce qui peut être un inconvénient pour certains voyageurs. Comme la villa est nouvellement accessible, il s’agit d’un des elements potentiels à ajuster pour le futur. Somme toute, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour!

I don't have enough wonderful words for Thiwanka. I had an unfortunate incident, Thiwanka helped me arranged the appointment with doctor, helped me with the tuk tuk, helped me with everything! He is such a kind kind person. The location is so close to the fish market. It is a perfect place for people who love sea food 😀 I only stayed for two nights, but I would be happy to come back for longer next time! or even long stay!

Jasims Villa ist traumhaft. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben - sauber, super komfortabel, einfach riesig und mit einem eigenem Strandzugang. Jasim war immer schnell zu erreichen und hat uns einen späteren Check-Out angeboten. Nuwan und seine liebe Frau leben vor Ort…seine Frau ist eine Superköchin. Du musst nicht auswärts essen. Sehr empfehlenswert :) wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Superbe ! Le lieu est exceptionnel, depuis le restaurant (très bon ! et avec un super rapport qualité prix), vous êtes à quelques mètres d’une magnifique plage sauvage. La plage est immense et vous aurez l’occasion d’observer les tortues le soir (via un tour organisé)! Depuis votre logement vous entendrez le bruit des vagues. C’est un logement très paisible. L’hôte et l’équipe est très réactive et gentille. C’était super et nous avons passé un super séjour ici!
