House vacation rentals in Hambantota

12/10. The accommodation is truly fantastic! We stayed there as a couple, and it was an entire villa. The private pool is a dream, and the kitchen is excellently equipped. It’s very quiet and private, yet you can reach the beach and town incredibly quickly. The housekeeper is absolutely wonderful - so kind and helpful. We would come back anytime and are really sad to leave after just two nights. If you have the chance to book this accommodation, do it!!

Celine was an exceptional host who made our stay in Sri Lanka truly memorable. Her hospitality was second to none — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She was always available, greeting us personally each morning and evening to reconfirm plans and ensure everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail and consistent communication made us feel completely at ease throughout our trip. Celine went far beyond what one would expect from a host. She offered fantastic local recommendations, personally took us around the area, and even accompanied us on a grocery run — a gesture that meant so much. Thanks to her, we experienced the real Sri Lanka, not just as tourists but as welcomed guests. I came looking for a place to stay and left having found a friend. Thank you, Celine, for everything.

This is a comfortable Sri Lankan style house, with charm, comfy beds and a good shower, which is exactly what we were looking for. You are living with local people in the surrounding area, who are very welcoming and helpful. Great pool and it was amazing to sit and watch the wildlife in your garden, you need to be comfortable with animals and insects to stay here, but watching a troop of monkeys go through the garden at 6.30 in the morning was just wonderful. The beach takes all of a minute to walk to and was by far the best local beach. You could get local food and drink on the beach. Overall a great place to stay.

Highly recommended to anyone looking to go Udawalawe National Park! Very friendly family and the food is fantastic. Host is very responsive which is a huge plus and he checks on us time to time. Five Stars !!!!!

We really loved our stay at Amila’s. So much we extended for almost 3 weeks. The home was so clean and cozy. The garden was beautiful. Felt very private and peaceful. It was the perfect place to unwind, and disconnect. Amila provided water and beers, which was a nice added touch. And if you pay him his agreed upon price, he’ll drive you into town to get supplies/food you may need. Many restaurants are nearby. Our two favorites were Ruwani (right across the street), but especially Turtle Kingdom further down the beach to the right. Both family run businesses with great food and great prices for the southern province. Felt like a nice community in the area. Had many peaceful walks and saw so much wildlife. The beach was unlike any other. So much raw-natural beauty. It went on forever. The water in the area is very rough and not the best for swimming, but we still loved every bit of our experience. Would highly recommend staying at The See Turtle Villa. We already want to return.

Lakshmans nephew was very helpful with all our needs. The house was clean and tidy and spacious. Everything we needed was there. One bed was very firm and in the other was more soft. The night was quiet for sleeping. The location could have been better, but, it was close enough for walking distance to shops and beach etc. Very good value for price. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend.
