Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Hambantota

Hands down the best place we have stayed in over our month we spent in Sri Lanka. Sadly, we stayed only one night but will gladly recommend this place for longer stays! The place is amazing, with quiet surroundings, immersed in jungle. Room is equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always helpful. The host himself cared for us very much, and is a true expert in running a hospitality business. Highly recommended!

This was our favourite place in Sri Lanka. The accomodation is stunning - right on the lagoon so you will see birds and animals right from your balcony. Chamin was the perfect host, his wife cooked us incredible food - Sri Lankan breakfast and an incredible BBQ of lagoon fish - which was one of the best meals of our whole trip. We also went to Bundala park for a safari - Chamin was an incredible host and spotted every animal - we saw 15 elephants, crocodiles, pelicans, monkeys and hundreds of tropical birds. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful stop about made here. Were warmly welcomed and deliciously cooked. Breakfast with views over the lake was delicious. The pool was also delicious.

After having travelled for 10 days throughout Sri Lanka we enjoyed the peace and serenity at BoB so much! Thank you! Feona -the manager- is doing a grat job, and the team is lovely, too! The food is excellent, our kids enjoyed it even more as it is not so spicy. The 6 bed-villa was perfect for us, enough space for all 5 of us. The outdoor bathroom is awesome, we loved to have a shower early in the morning with all the birds singing. The kids spent many hours in the pool and often went to explore the garden and all the animals living there. We saw a turtle, land-monitors, peacocks, buffalos, monkeys, jungle fowl and many different kind of birds and insects. So our 5 day-stay was over far too quick...we would love to come back!

Part of the Grand Udawalawae Safari Resort and very nice place it is surrounded by mature forest. Quiet and away from the main road. Restaurant and bar on site. Swimming pool was nice. Great staff.

It's a quiet, beautiful complex in the middle of nature. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Highlight is the excellent food, the pool, the proximity to nature as well as the uncomplicated arrangement of transfers and excursions. The staff are very eager to make everything possible. However, it should be prepared for animals to be on the property and also insects and geckos in the house. If you can get involved, you're in the right place. We highly recommend it - even with young children. Thank you!

Recommended, recommended, recommended!! Catch them while they are still under the radar! This place is just amazing, I wish somebody had told me so we'd book another night or two. The pictures at AirBnb are just of the cabins, but they are missing the camp itself which absolutely magical and the hospitality by Nishantha and the team, which is more than I could describe in words.. I hope the people at Yakaduru camp put up more pictures because this place has to get some PR they are amazing! Nishantha has great people skills and is doing his absolute best to treat every guest like a VIP, he is attentive to every request and is constantly looking for feedback. The team is following closely after and they are all going out of their way to make our vacation amazing. Special thanks to the flute player who warmed our nights by the campfire with his magical tunes! Yakaduru camp is just amazing. - Best food we had in our trip. - Their conservation work around the camp is a huge plus. Thanks

The stay was really great and the accommodation was stunning. The location is perfect for the safari and they were happy to help organise and answer any questions we had. There isn't a lot to do in the immediate area so the resort was lovely to chill and relax in around other activities. They were also helpful in providing a tuktuk to a nearby restaurant and friendly throughout our stay - would recommend!

We were Really happy to stay at this lovely big villa! The room was very very clean, and very BIG !! The host really made our stay perfect! Very attentive to our needs! It’s located not too far from Yala National parc main entrance! Me and my family will come back!!

Our family of five stayed at Tranquil Wild for two nights, and it just wasn't long enough! We loved the size of our room, with a mezzanine for the kids, and everything was clean and comfortable. The communal dining and outdoor spaces, along with the pool, were the perfect spaces to relax in nature, with books, games and outdoor toys too. The staff, in particular Amal, just couldn't do enough for us and are an absolute credit to the establishment. Anne too was communicative, and arranged safaris at both Lunugamvehera and Udawalawe for us at reasonable prices, the former with an excellent guide. I was so grateful to have one less thing to do whilst trip planning! We'd absolutely recommend Tranquil Wild as a must do whilst in Sri Lanka.

This is a fantastic place, just off the beach and better value than the beach front. There was a little day 1 confusion about the booking but that was quickly ironed out. The staff looked ofter us very well and the food was excellent.

Truly a magical experience. To go into too much detail would be ruining the adventure, but William and his team have carved out a slice of paradise that we will remember for a long time.

Gladly again, here you can switch off and do nude yoga on the beach so this natural beach is deserted. Wonderful

We had a very nice stay at Asanka's. The bungalow was very comfortable and the bed is huge. Asanka was very friendly and hospitable. It's a nice place to relax.

It was a really great place to stay. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the stay very much. The staff is also incredibly nice and helpful! Will come again any time.
