Kamesei Ryokan, quiet onsen inn, private budget rm

Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

3 min walk to Matsumoto castle and Nawate street. The Hostel faces a quiet street and there are some good-old restaurants, Izakaya bars and a public bath around there. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy cozy Japanese atmosphere and have a relaxing time on the Kotatsu, hammock and couch sofa in the common area. The room is Japanese-style dormitory room with bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light, outlets and a storage box for valuable items.

1 Bed in a 6 Bed Premium Mixed Dormitory. 1 bed per person. Each bed has own storage space for suitcases / ski & snowboard bags. There is 1 lock box per bed to keep you personal items secure. The Joint Hakuba is centrally located in the heart of Echoland Hakuba. A short stroll to restaurants, bars, cafes. Open fire place in our comfortable lounge room ,watch Netflix. Outside BBQ area and Campfire available. We offer a Continental breakfast during December 20th and March 13th

Nawate Guesthouse Male and Male Shared Dormitory

Very comfortable second floor guesthouse, with south-facing lounge, overlooking classic Nawate Street in the heart of Matsumoto. Across Metoba River from Nakamachi merchant street, a few blocks from Matsumoto Castle, surrounded by cafes and izakayas, and a short walk to museums and Matsumoto station. We run a cafe & bar on the 1st floor, and live on the 3rd with our children. We're always here for any questions you have!

Penke Panke Lodge is a well equipped nature lodge located in the scenic upper Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort. Enjoy nature but without loosing all the modern comforts of home. Chianti Chalet is situated a short 15min walk from the gondola at Tsugaike-Kogen Snow Resort at the end of a quiet street backing onto a stream and surrounded by forest and mountains. The chalet features 7 guest rooms and a large common area which is great to share stories with fellow guest over après-ski drinks and a meal.
