I can only recommend this property, we had a terrific staying. Mutsumi, the host, has been a kind a very helpful. We were very late due to an earthquake delaying our train and she was extremely helpful and communicative also in reassuring us and providing safety instructions. Her apartment is spacious, very cutely decorated and everything is in perfect order. The six of us slept in two rooms on tatami flooring with futons provided by the host, which was very comfortable and cosy. The location of the apartment is great, next to the castle, and I would like to recommend Matsumoto in general as a travel destination because it has plenty of things to see in the city and its surroundings. Thank you, Mutsumi !

Ikeda Lifekan Hakuba Apartment

EmiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ikeda's responsiveness is really helpful because the host relies on Airbnb during their stay There were a lot of things this time, but "It seems time-consuming..." I'm checking on my questions, so please reply appropriately if I have to wait. I don't even know if I can handle it while I'm waiting. How easy it is to wait to know that the host is taking care of you! I'm also grateful to IKEDA.

Ski-in, Ski-out #6 - Iwatake Apartments

IreneRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Daniel’s apartment was exactly as described. It was large (larger than most accommodation in Japan) and very comfortable. The ensuites were pristine and water pressure was great. The kitchen was clean and had the basics. We very much enjoyed our stay. Daniel went above and beyond - allowing us early check in, booking us restaurant and taxis. Even printing forms for us which we greatly appreciated. A brilliant host.

Snowlines Apartment B - Stylish Hakuba escape

DanielleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Snowlines Apartment B was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful setting, thoughtful amenities, and Stephen's warm hospitality. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing ski holiday. The location was fantastic, with good access to the bus stop for the slopes (offstreet parking if you hired a vehicle) and local restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything Echoland has to offer. Stephen was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, providing great recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. After long days on the mountains, coming back to such a cozy and well-appointed space was a dream. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Hakuba! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a seamless and memorable experience.

Big Bear Apartments 1, Studio Apartment, Hakuba

Darren’s Airbnb and services made our first snowboarding trip super hassle-free. He shared the information of the ski lessons and snowboard rental prior to our stay so we could book everything in advance. The shuttle bus stop to the ski resort is just opposite the Airbnb which was honestly very great imagine we had to wear our boots and carry our snowboards which saved us a lot of energy from walking. Darren’s team picked us up from the train station and also offered daily supermarket runs which we are very thankful for as we did not drive. There were also some restaurants nearby within walking distance on days we don’t feel like cooking. The apartment is very cozy and just nice for 2pax. All in all, we are appreciative of the Airbnb and Darren and his team and will definitely come back again!

Big Bear Apartments 4, Studio Apartment, Hakuba

HelenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We stayed in "green season". The accommodation is lovely, clean and very quiet. It is about a 20 minute walk from the main area of Happo/gondola and around 40-50 minutes from Hakuba train station which for us was not a problem but is something to bear in mind. I think in ski season there would be more bars/restaurants open directly local to the property and there are shuttle buses in winter so maybe not so much of an issue then. Darren was very responsive and Grant was great with rides to/from the train station at the start and end of our stay. Overall, would recommend.

Nozawa Onsen Basecamp #103 Two Bedroom Apartment

MartinRating, 5 stars40 months ago
LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!
A spacious room features two wooden beds with fresh linens. A low wooden table is positioned nearby, and natural light floods in from large windows, offering views of the surrounding area. Simple and functional decor creates a calm atmosphere.

Twin Room (Grand Pia Apartment) Private Room with Twin Beds

DamianoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Granpia is a great place to stay! The host is very responsive and helped us when we thought something was wrong with the AC. Turns out it just took extra long to get started the first time. She was very kind to clean the filter as we waited for it to start. After that everything went well. The room actually warms up well compared to the places I used to live at in Ueda. The place is in a quiet area and has a pretty view of the mountains. It has parking if you are driving, and is about a 20 minute walk to the station. Also, there is a soba place 1 minute walk away which has tasty walnut soba. You can also find little pastry places, cafe's, and other restaurants within a close radius. All in all, it's good value for your money and a great place to stay. Highly recommended!
