We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Welcome to our new Chalet Habichtswald, located at the foot of the Hohe Dörnberg in the Habichtwald Nature Park. Our small wooden house is located in a very nice hillside location right next to an equestrian farm for Icelandic horses. The property offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the gliding airfield on the Dörnberg on all sides. The hiking parking lot Friedrichstein is in the immediate vicinity and offers entrances to various premium hiking trails.

Within walking distance are the glider airfield (one of the oldest gliding areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the Helfensteine. Very cozy attic apartment almost directly on the forest, but only 15 minutes by car from the Documentary City of Kassel. A day trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park including Hercules is worthwhile. Great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig). Rewe, Aldi, pharmacy and ATM in the village.
