Monthly Rentals in Gwithian

This is an ideal place for those who love Gwithian/Hayle and the fact you can walk to it’s beaches. Well equipped and an excellent host. We had a couple of wear and tear issues and all were dealt with immediately. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely rebook here!

We spent a wonderful week at the Old Post Office in Gwithian. Located just a 10-minute walk from the beach trough the sand dunes, it was perfect for enjoying a morning swim in the sea, a surf session, or simply a stroll along the shore with coffee and cake from one of the nearby beach cafés. The area of Gwithian is very peaceful, which made for a truly relaxing stay. The apartment provided everything we could have wished for—a coffee maker, an amazing stove and oven for home cooking, tasteful and practical interior design and even a hot outdoor shower for rinsing off after a surf. On rainy days we appreciated the comfortable sofas in the warm cottage and on sunny days we enjoyed our morning coffee or afternoon tea on the terrace that gets sun from early morning until the evening. Just a short walk across the road, there’s a local pub that serves the most delicious fish and chips we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend James & Jodie's Old Post Office—what a gem!

Thank you Lucy for a beautiful stay for our minimoon. The Airbnb was in a peaceful village with a gorgeous view looking onto one of the best rated beaches in the country. Lucy was easy to communicate with, the home was spacious with all the basic amenities you could require and we particularly loved the welcome gifts. The garden is shared with the owners next door but we still enjoyed plenty of peace and privacy. Would love to return again one day.

5 Stars - Perfect Getaway by the beach! We had an amazing stay at this lovely Airbnb! The location is absolutely ideal - just a short walk to the beach, with stunning and peaceful surroundings that make for a relaxing and refreshing escape. Whether you’re into early morning walks by the ocean or winding down in a quiet area at a local pub this spot is perfect. The property itself was clean, cosy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The bed was really comfy too! Melanie was a great host - very friendly and responsive making sure we enjoyed our stay. We are very thankful for a lovely stay and plan on returning. We would absolutely recommend this place!
