Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Guimaraes

My family had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed exploring Gaia and loved the view of Porto! Isa and Hugo were very quick to respond to our questions and helped with any problems we had. They were easy to communicate with and very kind. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We will remember our stay fondly!

O Apartamento muito bom, com entrada interna para um shopping que facilitou muito as compras e restaurantes no final do dia quando chegávamos cansados. O João e um host muito educado, solícito e atencioso. O único inconveniente da localização é não estar perto de um metro, mas já está em construção e logo isso já não será um problema. Outro ponto que eu achei negativo, principalmente porque aluguei outros apartamentos em Portugal, foi que ele cobrou uma taxa de turismo em dinheiro, e nenhum dos outros hosts me cobrou, ou se cobrou incluiu no preço, como tive problemas com os cartões do banco, isso me causou stress por ter que conseguir sacar dinheiro.

El apartamento es ideal, y muy cómodo, puesto con mucho gusto, no le falta ni un detalle. La limpieza un 10. José, nos esperó a la llegada para explicarnos todo el funcionamiento, y nos dio muchas sugerencias sobre la ciudad, restaurantes, visitas, etc. Sin duda, lo recomiendo, Un saludo, Verónica.

A nossa estadia foi excelente, o apartamento é novo e todos os móveis também. Para nós que trabalhamos com a internet, ter um local com mesa e cadeiras confortáveis é importante. O apartamento tinha uma mesa grande com cadeiras boas. O anfitrião foi mt atencioso e proativo. Voltaria facilmente. Um ponto de atenção é apenas que a água aquecida é por caldeira, então para mulheres de cabelo grande, precisam controlar o tempo no banho para não ficar sem água quente.

Logement très mignon, parfait pour un week-end entre filles à Porto! Encore plus beau que sur les photos de décoré avec beaucoup de goût, nous avons adoré notre séjour Hugo et Maria sont réactifs et extrêmement aimables et flexibles, on recommande à 100%!

Overall the pictures underrepresented the unit, one bedroom did not have any views, but the two along the river and the common room had amazing views of the river out of large windows. The unit was larger than expected and well maintained, the only maintenance related items were a bit of mold on the master bath ceiling and in the 2nd bath one tub tile was loose and looked like it could fall off soon, but both minor and did not distract from the otherwise modern and well maintained unit. My only complaint about the unit was lack of nearby access to public transit and lengthy curvy roads to get to the unit; locations just a few km away could take 15 minutes due to single lane and one way roads; a couple times we had trouble getting ride share to accept the fare because the distance was so short the fare was low, but the trip duration was long and not worth it for the driver. We did pick up a car the night before we left and the garage was huge and easily accessible.

Great stay although the parking was an issue. Her garage is .6 miles away, so I ended up at a public garage which was a 5-minute walk away - I had to do this in order to retrieve the garage door opener from the apartment before I could actually drive to her garage to park. It was such a hassle driving around Porto that I decided not to use her free parking and just stay at the public parking garage. I paid 85 Euro for three days which for me was worth it. Be aware if you do use their parking, you will have to retrieve your car and then return the opener to the apartment which can be an issue but maybe not for some people. Anyway, this is just a side issue and the apartment and surrounding area was very nice.

We had a lovely stay at Maria's apartment for our first visit to Porto. Location is super, quiet inside, yet the Porto vibe was right out the door. Maria is a very gracious host.

Gute, ruhige Wohnung in der 3. Etage eines Wohnkomplexes, die mit mehreren Personen ausreichend Platz und Komfort bietet. Wir haben die Aussicht auf das Meer vom Balkon sehr genossen. Der Wohnkomplex ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber dennoch tolle Annehmlichkeiten wie das Hallenbad, Fitnessgeräte, Sauna. Gerade das Hallenbad im Spätherbst ist toll. Ausreichend gute Restaurant sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe sind vorhanden. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Vom Nachbarort kann man alternativ mit dem Zug nach Porto fahren.

We loved staying at Mathias’s beautiful apartment. The view over the river was stunning and it was away from the busy tourist areas, but also very handy to wherever we wanted to go. The guidebooks, maps, and local recommendations were highly appreciated. A highlight was our trip to Afurada, where we ended up spending the better part of a day. The apartment is beautifully appointed and comfortable with everything we needed.

Excelente apartamento, bem mobilado, decorado e limpo; boas áreas, comodidades maravilhosas (vista, piscina, garagem, bicicletas, mantas para o sofá, produtos básicos para a cozinha e WC, ...). A anfitriã foi muito simpática e sempre pronta a ajudar. Recomendo!!!

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊

This apartment is spectacular!! It has the feel of a luxury San Francisco penthouse apartment. We could listen to the waves at night. Multiple restaurants are within a 2 block area! While It's not technically IN Porto, it's a very inexpensive Uber ride away...and we saw a lot of the city that way without having to walk! The platform bed setup as one solid bed was a bit challenging for an older couple, but overall, the apartment made it worth the challenge! We'd definitely stay there again!

Great space, was nice and clean. Would 100% book again if staying in Porto agree in the future.

Amazing host and lovely apartment ! Maurício could not have nicer or more helpful - he was definitely the highlight of my stay. From meeting you at check in to giving local recommendations to going above and beyond to make sure the apartment was in perfect condition. For the apartment, I appreciated the heating, comfortable bed and sofa, good wifi, and lovely views from the balcony. Having the beach only a couple minutes’ walk is a real plus that both my dog and I enjoyed. Because there is so much to do in the area I didn’t use the pool/gym as I planned, but it looked really nice. Finally I found the locals quite friendly on walks around, which I appreciated. If you’re thinking of a stay, book without hesitation!

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

Espaço incrível, fui para lá com a minha mulher no dia 14 de fevereiro (dia dos namorados) o Ricardo teve o cuidado de nos deixar o ambiente todo a requinte para tal! Zona do jacuzzi linda , a meu ver está super bem situado no melhor sítio para tirar uns dias para relaxar em plena paz! Super recomendo!!!

Beautiful location, private and serene, Maria Lurdes is a fantastic host. She took time to show us around and explain the local culture and towns. The house is beautiful with so much space for games, gym, office space, living area is spacious for large groups. The river is right in front with easy access. Will definitely go back again to enjoy the house and Maria’s great hospitality. Would easily give the place 6 STARS out of 5!!!!

I had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The house was incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The location couldn’t have been better—it was close to everything, making it super convenient to explore the area. On top of that, the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I’ll definitely be coming back

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Tout était parfait. L’hôte a été très flexible pour les horaires d’arrivée et de départ, et toujours disponible et serviable dès que nous avions besoin de quelque chose. La maison était extrêmement bien équipée, il ne manquait absolument rien. Nous recommandons vivement !

Local fantástico e anfitriões muito atenciosos! Fomos recebidos com muitos mimos! Casa muito confortável e bem decorada. Estacionamento privativo. Exterior da casa com vários "cantinhos" para desfrutar. Piscina 5*. Fácil e rápido acesso à Vila , a pé, onde podemos encontrar supermercado, pastelaria, talho, posto de turismo, restaurantes, termas... Obrigada à Susana e Tomás por nos terem recebido tão bem!

Tiago est très accueillant. Toutes les informations ont été utiles et ont facilité notre arrivée. La maison est très accueillante, fidèle aux photos. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans les descriptions mais la piscine est chauffée en plus d'être couverte. Nous étions une famille de 6, des enfants aux grands parents, je recommande vivement.

João Ricardo fue muy amable en todo momento y nos ayudó en todo lo que nos hizo falta. La casa estaba tal cual la descripción! Equipada para todo lo que te pueda hacer falta un fin de semana. Lo más complicado fue encender y apagar las luces 😅
