My family had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed exploring Gaia and loved the view of Porto! Isa and Hugo were very quick to respond to our questions and helped with any problems we had. They were easy to communicate with and very kind. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We will remember our stay fondly!

Very clean and modern apartment right beside Porto's stadium. Highly recommended for couples roadtripping in Portugal since there is a parking spot.

João was a great host! The place is immaculate and in a great location with a fantastic view of the Douro river and the Porto skyline. Very friendly welcome and briefing by João on arrival and kept in regular contact to ensure all was well with our stay.

Overall the pictures underrepresented the unit, one bedroom did not have any views, but the two along the river and the common room had amazing views of the river out of large windows. The unit was larger than expected and well maintained, the only maintenance related items were a bit of mold on the master bath ceiling and in the 2nd bath one tub tile was loose and looked like it could fall off soon, but both minor and did not distract from the otherwise modern and well maintained unit. My only complaint about the unit was lack of nearby access to public transit and lengthy curvy roads to get to the unit; locations just a few km away could take 15 minutes due to single lane and one way roads; a couple times we had trouble getting ride share to accept the fare because the distance was so short the fare was low, but the trip duration was long and not worth it for the driver. We did pick up a car the night before we left and the garage was huge and easily accessible.

Great stay although the parking was an issue. Her garage is .6 miles away, so I ended up at a public garage which was a 5-minute walk away - I had to do this in order to retrieve the garage door opener from the apartment before I could actually drive to her garage to park. It was such a hassle driving around Porto that I decided not to use her free parking and just stay at the public parking garage. I paid 85 Euro for three days which for me was worth it. Be aware if you do use their parking, you will have to retrieve your car and then return the opener to the apartment which can be an issue but maybe not for some people. Anyway, this is just a side issue and the apartment and surrounding area was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. António is a responsive and welcoming host, always available when needed. The apartment is well-equipped—sharp knives, plenty of dishes, both capsule and filter coffee machines. The bedrooms have good mattresses and pillows, the living room is spacious, with great view, and the design is excellent. With three bathrooms, everything was convenient. The location is fantastic—just a two-minute walk to the beach, surrounded by great restaurants, and only 30 minutes by metro to the center of Porto. The apartment was spotless. Everything was perfect, and we would love to return. Thank you so much, Antonio!

We had a lovely stay at Maria's apartment for our first visit to Porto. Location is super, quiet inside, yet the Porto vibe was right out the door. Maria is a very gracious host.

We loved staying at Mathias’s beautiful apartment. The view over the river was stunning and it was away from the busy tourist areas, but also very handy to wherever we wanted to go. The guidebooks, maps, and local recommendations were highly appreciated. A highlight was our trip to Afurada, where we ended up spending the better part of a day. The apartment is beautifully appointed and comfortable with everything we needed.

Great apartment, well furnished, decorated and clean; good areas, wonderful amenities (view, swimming pool, garage, bicycles, sofa blankets, kitchen and toilet, ...). The host was very friendly and always ready to help. I recommend it!!!

The apartment had everything we needed and more! We could want for nothing! Beautiful town and quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend if you are headed to northern Portugal.

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊

Amazing host and base to explore nearby Porto! Luiz was extremely helpful with tips regarding restaurants, sites, and nearby day trips. He went out of his way to make sure we were finding everything useful in the city and for anything we needed in the apartment he was a quick call away. The apartment was clean and in a great location and the building has great amenities including parking, pool, gym squash, pool etc. Would definitely recommend if traveling to Porto!

This apartment is spectacular!! It has the feel of a luxury San Francisco penthouse apartment. We could listen to the waves at night. Multiple restaurants are within a 2 block area! While It's not technically IN Porto, it's a very inexpensive Uber ride away...and we saw a lot of the city that way without having to walk! The platform bed setup as one solid bed was a bit challenging for an older couple, but overall, the apartment made it worth the challenge! We'd definitely stay there again!

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

Amazing space, I went there with my wife on February 14 (Valentine's Day) Ricardo was careful to leave us the whole environment in refinement for this! Beautiful jacuzzi area, in my opinion it is very well located in the best place to take a few days to relax in full peace! I highly recommend it!!!

Where do I even start?! Staying at Maria's Casa do Rio felt like a magical home away from home. Maria and her sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a beautiful tour of the property with an overview of its history that you should not miss. She was very accommodating to our check-in time and sensitive to our plans during our stay, which were not many. Since we didn't have much planned for our spur-of-the-moment visit, we were delighted when Maria gave us many suggestions of activities on our own as well as ones with her such as a tour around the area, canoeing, hiking, yoga class, massage, cooking together and so much more. The charm and kind embrace by Maria was otherworldly and an experience in itself that we won't ever forget. If you have any reservations on booking your stay here, you shouldn't because you will not regret a single second at Casa do Rio. Every moment during our stay here is one we will treasure, and we'll be back to visit Maria and her Casa.

I had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The house was incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The location couldn’t have been better—it was close to everything, making it super convenient to explore the area. On top of that, the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I’ll definitely be coming back

We had a great time! Everything was perfect. The host was very flexible with check-in and check-out times, and always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The house was extremely well equipped, there was absolutely nothing missing. We highly recommend it!

Fantastic location and very attentive hosts! We were greeted with lots of pampering! Very comfortable and well-decorated house. Private parking. Outside the house there are several "corners" to enjoy. 5* pool. Easy and quick access to the Village, on foot, where we can find a supermarket, pastry shop, butcher shop, tourist office, restaurants, hot springs... Thanks to Susana and Tomás for hosting us so well!

Fantastic host, very friendly, fast responses, beautiful house, hot tub worked, mattresses and couches comfortable, very clean, washer and dryer worked appropriately, kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace and bar fully stocked. Not one complaint. Will stay here again in a heartbeat! Deserves a 10 rating.
