Great place to stay in Porto! Best part is the balcony view. Located in central location close to everything. Would recommend it. Had a personal welcome at location as well which made it even better.

We had a wonderful stay. The apt is in a great location with ocean and river views. We watched the sunset from the spacious and comfortable balcony daily. Luís has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. He gave a very thorough orientation and showed us where we could find all the necessities. Every area of the apt. is comfortable. Luís provided recommendations to local restaurants. He really takes pride in providing a comfortable place for his guests to stay and it shows in the presentation. We will certainly return to Luís’ place in the future.

Stunning apartment in the ideal location with the perfect host. This really is an exceptional place, beautifully decorated and furnished in real quality and style. The balcony topped it off as a fabulous - and remarkably spacious - bonus. Long evenings with the street hubbub below and fantastic views of the historic city. It's a maximum of 15 minutes walk from just about anywhere you want to go - most is closer still. Exceptional Stay in Vila Nova de Gaia Our recent stay at this apartment in Vila Nova de Gaia was nothing short of delightful. Situated just across the Douro River from Porto, the location offered a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. The apartment is approximately a 30-minute leisurely walk to the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, providing a scenic and flat riverside path lined with charming cafes and eateries. This made our daily excursions into Porto both enjoyable and convenient. Located on the third floor with elevator access, the apartment was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and bathed in natural light. The comfortable furnishings and thoughtful amenities made it a true home away from home. We were also pleased to discover the proximity to the Gaia Cable Car (Teleférico de Gaia), offering stunning aerial views of the river and cityscape. cityscape.cityscape. In summary, we have nothing but praise for this accommodation. If it's available for your dates, don't hesitate.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had — 10/10. The location is perfect, right in front of the Porto Cathedral with a beautiful view, and just a short walk to the Douro River, Gaia, and São Bento Station. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. I appreciated the generous supply of towels and the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of port wine. Another great bonus was the washer and dryer in the basement — a huge help for longer stays. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

We loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and their instructions were very easy to follow. Having a spot to park our car was also a great perk, especially since you can walk to everywhere from this spot easily. We highly recommend this spot if you’re in Porto!

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

We stayed here for a few days as a group of 8 adult couples celebrating a family birthday. Everything about the space was perfect - we each had plenty of privacy and space with our own bathrooms, while the indoor and outdoor communal areas are absolutely perfect for dining and relaxing in a large group without ever feeling cramped. The outside space is stunning, with amazing views, a wonderful pool, and a charcoal BBQ and outdoor dining space. To top it all off, we had a private chef, Ana, arranged by the hosts - she cooked an absolutely delightful Portuguese meal for us all on our first night that just set the tone for the rest of our stay. Probably the best group accommodation I have stayed in - thank you Miguel and team.

A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing and exceptional stay. Beyond the breathtaking view from the villa, everything inside was perfectly thought out - with so many little (and big) surprises that made the whole experience even better than we expected. On top of that, they helped us arrange a last-minute early-morning transfer to Porto airport - which we really appreciated. Highly recommended, and I truly hope to come back for another stay someday!

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

Manuel and Rosaria are lovely and very considerate people, who anticipate the possible needs of the tenants of the cottage. It was very easy for us to communicate with them despite the language barrier. When we arrived, we were able to taste Portuguese specialties. The cottage is very well-equipped, very clean and very conveniently located for visiting northern Portugal. The property is beautiful, with different spaces, garden, pool, vines and animals. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you very much to Manuel and Rosaria for hosting us.

Be sure to follow hosts directions to location as Google maps route is extremely tight and difficult to navigate. Once there and easy route to property is identified there are no problems. Beautiful property and surroundings, ideal for self catering meals. Reasonable proximity to Geres national Park which is breathtakingly beautiful. Hosts Miguel and Raquel were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Absolutely loved Maria’s property. The villa was amazing, the pool was great and the access to another property for walking and fresh eggs was incredible! Both the kids enjoyed the pool and the grounds and the peaceful nature of the villa was really enjoyable. Maria and her husband were attentive and helpful but left us to get on with our holiday and answered any questions we had quickly as well.

This place was super clean. kitchen well organized. Location was superb...close to the Se Cathedral and also the bridge. there are 4 bedrooms which is very hard to find. There was no street noise and the Views were great from the balcony and host was kind enough to provide complimentary port wine and cookies.

6 of us stayed 5 nights in Joana’s apartment last week. It was a perfect set up for two couples and two teenage kids. Joana is extremely responsive to any questions and even provided me with a product she doesn’t usually keep at the apartment that I asked about. She went over and above to make us feel comfortable and checked in during our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. She met us on check-in and did a quick overview of Porto but was very cognizant of our having traveled overnight so tried to make it short. We went to 2 restaurants she recommended both of which were terrific. Having a washer (and dryer which you don’t always see in Europe) was great. We would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Very nice apartment for 2 people, with all amenities - towels, shampoo, soap, coffee maker, washing machine, iron. Very nice and helpful host, showed us on the map of Porto places worth visiting, answered all questions on an ongoing basis - very good contact. The apartment is located 500 m from the beach, in a very good communication point (metro, buses). I highly recommend it.

...EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT... We chose this accommodation based on the comments: ALL the reviews are positive. The apartment is currently under renovation and we have been given the one downstairs, which is similar but with a large terrace. The apartment is still new, comfortable and very clean. From May 22 to 29, with my wife and son, we stayed in this apartment equipped with every comfort, all the appliances in the kitchen and bathroom are new. All linens, bed and bath, were available and perfect. Comfortable and large double bed In addition, the house has perfect and fast Wi-Fi and two new air conditioners The accommodation is located near Campanha, in a quiet area and the condominium is very quiet. David was kind and helpful, answering our questions immediately A stay to be repeated definitely... Highly recommended. This is the second time I have stayed at one of Christoph’s properties and once again it did not disappoint. Only a couple of minutes downhill to the Duoro river and the Pont Luis. Amazing restaurants on the doorstep and a great place to wander and discover new things. Loved the place.
