Staying in the small cabin is an adventure by itself. The surrounding forest and lake are beautiful. The cabin is clean and you find everything you need (outside toilet, no electricity and the beds are a bit hard). The cabin is not so big, so if the weather permits you should be outside (we had a fire, …) which is great. Bring mosquito repellent. We had one really rainy day and therefore a very cosy time with four people in the cabin. We would highly recommend using the sauna (for a fee) and jumping in the really cold and clear lake. The city of Beitostølen is just a few minutes by car and there a some restaurants and super market. The best part is the connection to Beito Husky farm (next to the wood) which we - and especially our kids - really loved. We spend a day with the dogs and had a serene canoe tour. It was a great stay and our kids where really sad leaving the dogs behind.

Terje and Liv was absolutely warmest hosts we ever met! They replyed our request very fast. House was beautifull with all nice decorations, bed amazing and there was nice greenhouse with candles! Terje and Liv also gave good tips about hiking areas near by. We had absolutely great time!

We slept in the tent. It was cold and Anne Kari proposed we could sleep in one of her cabins. We wanted to sleep in the tent anyway and she went above and beyond to make sure we were warm throughout the night :). She was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the cat was cute.

At first we didn’t noticed that the house is shared but there is nothing to worry about. It was our first time in a shared house with a hosting family but we’re glad it was that way. The hosting family was super nice, gave us some traveling tips and we really felt like at home. We really recommend this.

Un séjour chaleureux et agréable chez Elisabeth. La chambre était parfaite, elle a même rajouté un lit pour mon ami. Tout était propre et Elisabeth est une hôte très accueillante et agréable ! Ce fut un plaisir de partager ce court séjour et ces histoires ! Je recommande vivement !

Wij konden privé gebruik maken van grote woonkamer , keuken en van de whirlpool in badkamer. Slaapkamer aan de kleine kant. Zeer sociaal gezin en zij verzorgde een prima uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooie omgeving en dichtbij Nationaal park Rondane Bedankt Hans en Maria

Dette stedet er kanskje det koseligste jeg noensinne har overnattet på. Verdens triveligste mennesker tok oss i mot, ga oss lokale anbefalinger og serverte tidenes diggeste frokost (med brød rett fra ovnen). Gården har så mye personlighet, og det var veldig lett å føle seg hjemme her. Neste gang skal vi overnatte mer enn én natt. Tusen takk for oss🧡

This place was so wonderful and magical. We loved our breakfast and Sidsel was a wonderful host who helped us find a beautiful nature route up to Trondheim. We ate apples and berries and saw many sheep. We hope to come back one day 😊
