The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås, among others. The cabin is located right down on the beach with magnificent views of fjords and mountains. Here you can swim, relax by the water's edge or explore the fjord by boat, kayak or SUP board that can be rented in town. The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Hytta ligger på Viken Fjellgård, en time fra Lillehammer, rett ved idylliske Espedalsvatnet, 720 m.o.h, og Langsua Nasjonalpark. Her kan man få stillhet og ro, bade, padle, besøke gruver, eller gå turer. Det er kort til høyfjell med mange turmuligheter, eller å gå ut fra gården langs vannet, på stier i skog og mark. Det er koselig uteplass med bålpanne på brygga ved naustet, og det er badestrand på andre siden. Våre gjester kan benytte våre to båter og kano fritt,og vi låner ut to fiskestenger.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Spacious completely renovated cabin centrally located on Sjusjøen. Ski tracks just past the cabin plot and alpine slope in the immediate vicinity. Swimming area and playground from walking distance. Consistently high standard, including a sauna, fire pit, internet, and Smart TV. Bed linen and towels can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 150 per person. Cleaning can be ordered for 750kr Dog 500kr per dog, per stay.
