Monthly Rentals in Guanajuato

We stayed 40 days in Guillermo's apartment and from the arrival towards the end felt very much at home. It is in short walking distance to the center of Valenciana with its little shops and the big church. At the same time it is in a quiet neighborhood next to la Mina de Valenciana. One of our favorite things to do was taking the path through the natural reserve down to Guanajuato. It takes about 30 minutes if you don't stop every 100m to take a picture of the scenary. The place is decorated with good taste, is very bright and open. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. There were not many days when we did not take a photo of the sunset. Mocho, Guillermo's dog, is one of the friendliest dogs we've met. He came to give us company and was always around to accompany us from and to the gate. Memo went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He is also a great chef and has many stories to tell. We already miss the place and hope to be back soon.

This studio was just perfect for what I needed. My wife and friend had stayed in the larger home that is on the same property. Great for a couple or one person. Not fancy but very practical. Comfortable bed. Nice Bathroom. Excellent Shower. The kitchen area again not fancy but very clean and serves the purpose of A STUDIO! The proximity to the Main Street of Presa makes life easy. Across the street are great coffee cafes. Up a ways are really great restaurants like Citric which I had the best Chilaquiles Rojos of any in Mexico. Across from Citric is Amantxi a Fine Dining steakhouse that is magnificent under the watchful eyes of Chef Domingo Marteniz and his wife. Great and talented staff. A BARGAIN at each of these restaurants for the quality they provide… Back to Christel and her listing. Since we had the privilege of staying there 2x in a short period. We had the full experience of excellent above and beyond communication. The home delivered more than promised.Highest recommendation!

We had an awesome stay in Maria's place. The view from the house is astonishing. You walk out the door to the balcony, the amazing view is waiting at all times. The house has all the amenities you may need. It has toppers and other basic condiments to cook. We had a bit of hard time finding the house on the first day but María communicated with us well so we had no problem of finding it. You will climb a lot of stairs. I highly recommend her place if you are in Guanajuato!

After 14 years of renting AirBnBs-- and many months of that in Mexico-- I have to nominate Coco, the hostess at this place, as the most accommodating and welcoming I've ever experienced. She not only met me at the apartment and showed me around, she got me in her car and gave me a tour of Guanajuato! She continually kept in touch and wanted to supply anything I needed. Her advice on where to go in town was spot-on. Thanks Coco. As for the apartment, it was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and has a great view! The shower is great (not a given in Mexico) and has TWO water heaters, a solar and an electric backup. The brick ceiling is amazing (how'd they do that?). Keep in mind, this place is a good uphill walk from town. I did it for the exercise, but after dinner, or in the middle-of-the day heat, I often got a taxi (which was usually only 60 or 70 pesos) up the hill. This place is much quieter than the rowdiness in town, but it is also a bit of a hike.
