Se trata de un singular edificio de piedra construido a principios del siglo pasado. Cuenta con un patio de 200m y un jardín exterior. Disponemos, además, de un cargador eléctrico para coches. En un entorno rural, el alojamiento se encuentra a las puertas del Parque Natural del Barranco del Río dulce, uno de los parajes más espectaculares de la provincia de Guadalajara.

Situado en Guadalajara, el "Refugio El Cañal" es una construcción singular con diversos usos a lo largo del tiempo. Está en Taracena, pedanía de Guadalajara a escasa distancia de dos montes emblemáticos como son la Peña Hueva (donde se rodó parte de la película Espartaco con Kirk Douglas) y el Pico del Águila. Se pueden hacer ruido ya que no hay vecinos alrededor. Se ubica dentro de un complejo de Actividades llamado "Territorio Aventura" donde se puede hacer paintball, 4x4, tiro con arco, etc.
