Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Großschönau

We were in the vacation home with 12 people in March 2025. There was enough space for everyone, so the room layout was very simple and with 4 bathrooms (without taking into account the apartment) we could always divide up well. We felt very comfortable right from the start and were very excited about the large kitchen with cooking island, the very spacious living room incl. Bar and the beautiful winter garden with large table tennis table. At first, we were afraid that it would be a bit cramped with the large group, but we were always able to spread out well and could also use everything outside (grill, fireplace, pool). The beer cost extra, but we were informed of the costs in advance. The surroundings were wonderful and so we could also discover the good restaurants while hiking. There were shops nearby. Once again, thank you for the wonderful hospitality of Corah Lou and Jan and we want to come back next year :).

It was a pleasure staying in Bartosz‘ apartment. He was very friendly, quick and positive in his replies. We definitely consider coming back.

We used the house over Easter for a family trip of six. There was everything your heart desires: from the large fridge, the very well-equipped kitchen with attached dining room, bedrooms with good mattresses to the top equipped common areas with many play opportunities. Even in bad weather you can have a very good time here. Fortunately, the sun was shining, so we explored the beautiful area. The property is large and fenced. Our dog was able to move freely, we made a campfire with the available wood and grilled outside. Really nice was the covered dining area with benches: great views! Beautiful and historically significant excursion destinations are nearby: We took a hike to Helfenburg (12 min. to parking lot) and visited the Theresienstadt concentration camp on the day of departure (just under 20 min.) - be sure to see! Hiking opportunities right by the house. In 1 word: great!!!

A wonderfully rustic, spacious place where we experienced fantastic Christmas as a family of 6 plus grandparents. The fireplace really heats the whole house when it's not super cold outside. Norma and Peter are very accommodating.

Accomodation was spotless, well furnished with all the amenities needed. We really enjoyed having the possibility to use the bbq. Really recommended for a getaway weekend.

Many thanks to Chris and his family for the wonderful stay in the lovingly renovated surrounding house. Everything on site not only corresponded to your description but even top it. It was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back again.

Katerina’s home was a lovely spot for our family get-together — peaceful, private, and just what we needed to relax and reconnect. We did have a minor issue with ants, but Katerina was incredibly responsive and took care of it immediately. Her hospitality made all the difference, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her place!

Beautiful small apartment with great excursion destinations nearby. Many suggestions were provided and communication with the hosts was easy and enjoyable. We had a lovely time and can absolutely recommend both the apartment and the host.

This place offers everything you need to spend a weekend or even longer in Bautzen. Good restaurants and shopping are within walking distance right around the corner. Clear recommendation from my side :)

100% recommendation! A beautiful apartment, felt right at home. Everything is super clean and the apartment is a good starting point for excursions. In addition, very professional handling and at the same time very friendly and attentive. If we find ourselves in the beautiful area again, our path will surely lead us back to Christopher. Nice place with large kitchen. Quietly located with lots of greenery around it. Perfect for a relaxing time with friends and family.

This stay was truly exceptional. A quiet and pleasant environment to relax, lots of places to go with even the possibility of borrowing bikes. When it comes to the accommodation directly,.. I have nothing to complain about, a bathing barrel, a sauna, the possibility of grilling - great! Projector for pleasantly spent evenings, perfect for a romantic and indulgent stay. I'm sure we'll be happy to come back and enjoy the same comfort here as we are now.

The apartment is very cozy and the house is idyllically located. Highly recommended for extensive hikes or relaxing days.

Very relaxing location. There are many hike trails around . The cottage is cozy, with carefully chosen amenities. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire place. Michael was also very helpful and friendly.

There were a total of 11 of us and there was plenty of room. The house is nicely decorated and has comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped. We would go back there :)

There were 9 of us in the accommodation. The house is great and offers everything you need. 3 different grills are available (smoker, Weber and open grill bowl). Multiple showers and toilets make it much easier when traveling with a large group. The house has several rooms with 3 or 2 beds. The view of the canal is awesome. I highly recommend booking the place along with the bar. The bar is awesome. Plenty of space, music system, projector, TV, stage, light music and a beer tap are provided. This takes barbecuing in the evening and partying together to a new level:) Right in front of the house there is plenty of free parking available for easily 7-10 cars. Nearby (max 5-10 minutes by car) there are many. Grocery shopping from well-known supermarkets. Michal is a friendly, helpful and a great host. We will be happy to come back! Thank you

We had four wonderful days in Vit's great cottage, which is furnished with a lot of love and flair and is very cozy. A particularly nice place, very comfortable and well-equipped, with views of the forest, quiet and well located on the edge of Tissa. We enjoyed the time very much and will definitely be back!

We chose Villa Albatros for a weekend stay and couldn't have done better. We were in full and everything was absolutely perfect. Accommodation luxurious and clean, fully equipped, perfect for a larger group, great home environment. Huge thanks to Mr. Drába, his approach was 10/10 – very helpful, accommodating, and communication went smoothly from start to finish. Excellent host. House as described and very good and clean. The pool, which can also be used in bad weather, gave the children great pleasure! House perfectly clean. Kitchen is fully equipped, even consumables are available, so you can get started right away! A few kilometers away is a supermarket (Penny), which was also open on Sunday and on the holiday.

We had a great time at Gabriela’s. The old villa and the surroundings are picturesque, the room and the kitchen are very comfortable and she was very caring by providing the fire at the fireplace at the end of every cold day I spent hiking with my two sons. Recommend to anyone.
