Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Großer Alpsee

We had a lovely stay at Dunja’s house in Westendorf. It’s a very peaceful village in a beautiful area, and a great base for exploring south-west Bavaria. The house is fabulous, and extremely well appointed. We felt right at home immediately, It is extremely spacious and immaculately clean. We would definitely look to stay here again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect – quiet yet central, so you can reach everything quickly. We would particularly like to emphasize the friendly hosts, who welcomed us warmly and were helpful at all times. We will be happy to come back and absolutely recommend this place!

We were traveling with a larger group of girls. The space was optimal for this. We had several small bedrooms with two to three beds, all of which were prepared with a lot of love. We particularly liked the large kitchen in the lower apartment. Here we could sit together for a long time in the evening. However, those who wanted also had the opportunity to go into the bedrooms. For us, it was a great stay and the division with 12 people in the two apartments and two bathrooms was great.

We were seven friends and were received in a very friendly manner. Every extra request was fulfilled in a very friendly way. The very tasteful and artistically renovated old farmhouse must be immediately taken to heart. Every detail is incredibly beautifully designed. The garden, where you can sit outside in front of and behind the house and from where you have a beautiful view over Lake Constance, is a dream. And there are many different coffee machines and a dishwasher.

The house on the edge of the forest is beautiful. Inside it is great, with the sauna/bar room just great. The garden, with barbecue area and the canopy next to it invites you to barbecue in fine weather. You can go hiking directly and enjoy nature! It was just perfect!

Great stay with a very relaxed and accommodating host. Gladly come back.

We used the apartment for our short ski holiday with our four children and felt very comfortable. Even though there is no ski room or the like, we could dry the clothes on the clothes on the clothes rack and the indoor shoes on the heater in the dining room very well. The apartment is very cozy and really very good and also very nicely equipped. Equipment is also available for more elaborate cooking and baking. We both cooked and ate several times at the Gasthaus Goldener Hirsch. We highly recommend the inn. Note at the bakery that he is closed on Monday as of March 2025. The hosts prepared the apartment perfectly, clean, tidy and optimally heated. It was also extremely nice that the hosts sent us home our key, which we forgot on departure in the apartment. Sincere thanks for the hospitality, we will be happy to return!

We had a lovely week. It was clean, the decor very nice, we had everything we needed. Kathrin was within easy reach.

The apartment and the little garden are very tastefully decorated. Everything is in impeccable condition and lovingly prepared for guests. The small place is very quiet and ideal as a starting point for bike rides. Renata had designed corresponding maps and suggestions for excursions, which we loved. We often sat outside and could have breakfast on the terrace in April. The street is close to the garden, but is not frequented and nothing was heard in the apartment. We loved the apartment and landlords!

We really enjoyed Monika's place, the view was amazing and the location was convenient to visit lots of different destinations in the area.

We had a very pleasant stay at Petra and Thomas' apartment. Highlight for us were the beautiful big new bathroom and also the beautiful, well equipped, kitchen. Also, the apartment was outstandingly clean everywhere! The apartment is centrally located, we were mainly traveling by bus, train and ferry, which is very feasible from this apartment, as the train station is only a 2-minute walk away and the harbor is a 5-minute walk away, which makes the apartment a really great starting point for many day activities around Lake Constance. Petra's very clear and accommodating communication has just made checking in and out very easy and hassle-free. If we go on vacation in Friedrichshafen again, we will be happy to stay in an apartment of Petra and Thomas again!

Stayed here for a few nights over new year’s and we loved it. The hosts (owners) are really lovely people and we found everything in the apartment to be great and well equipped. Just be prepared to drive as groceries are not so nearby. But to be expected with a location like this.

We had a nice ski holiday. The slopes were close but traffic to it was busy. The apartment was very comfortable and tidy. Kim was a great hostess.

We felt very comfortable with Lucie. The apartment was superbly equipped and we didn't miss anything. The view of the mountains such as the Hohe Ifen or the Walmendingerhorn as well as the valley is incredible. We had a great vacation. Communication was also very good. Thanks for the hospitality and maybe see you again :-)

We had a great stay at Marcus and Lana's place. The apartment is lovely, and it was spotless. The location is great, especially for wine lovers, as there are many wineries accessible on foot! ;) There was a private parking space, and the location allows you to reach many tourist points on the Bodensee by car quite quickly. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. We did not bike, but the location seemed great for it, and there was even a bike rental nearby. Overall, we had a great time and we would come back again. Definitely recommend it!

We felt incredibly comfortable in the apartment. There is a separate entrance with a cute little terrace. The equipment of the apartment is really super good. You don't need anything because everything is set up and thoughtful down to the last detail. Stay was modern, tastefully decorated and clean. Private entrance which is pleasant with parking at the door. Supermarket, bakery and nice restaurant/guest court around the corner which makes it pleasant.

Within a few weeks, this was already our second stay with Sandra and Lorenz - and it will definitely not have been the last. The apartment is simply fantastic: clean, tastefully furnished and with a sensational view of the mountains. The small kitchen simply leaves nothing to be desired and the bed is super cozy.

My mother and I had spent 5 nights in this pearl of apartment in early April. We were totally flashed by this apartment from second 1 - it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Everything is decorated with so much love for detail. High quality and practical. we were even able to spend a few hours on the sunbeds and have dinner on the terrace. In the evening, you can quietly hear the river ripples before falling asleep in these comfortable beds like a baby. The car is well taken care of in the garage and there was even a piece of felt on the wall that on the driver's side you do not accidentally damage the door when getting out. in the apartment there are helpful tips for things to do/hiking recommendations, instructions for the apartment and restaurant tips. we were eating at 3 of the recommended restaurants - it was a palate. we also had the pleasure of meeting Petra - very likeable. Thanks for the great break
