Vacation rentals with lake access in Großer Alpsee

Very nice, clean and cozy place with enough space in a great environment. We felt very comfortable in the Astara vacation home.

The place and surroundings were just beautiful. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time and were able to relax wonderfully. It was definitely a place where we all felt very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We were on a family trip, with 8 adults, many children and a small dog to visit. Everything worked out great, everything as described and Janin is super helpful and committed. We had baby cribs and seats and everything was great with the dogs too. The location is also great, with beautiful views, large garden and lots of fun for everyone. If I had to find something negative, it would only be the walk through a long hallway into the house, which is a bit tedious with full hands, and thus also the walk from the kitchen to the terrace is long. :-) We had a great weekend

Beautiful, charming house, top equipped, cozy and clean. Quietly located on the edge of the forest, great also for walks with a dog and the proximity to the lakes. Likeable and super easily accessible landlord – highly recommended – we'd love to come back 😊

Very pleasant stay. We didn't realise first the touristic tax, that we must pay in addition and then allows us to get a card (Bodenseecard) to take the bus at no extra cost (and have some discount in some museums or activities...). Extremely convenient to visit the cities around (since car parking is not very easy in some areas). We are very happy of our experience in this house and in this region.

We had a longer stay in this apartment in January 2025! The host was extremely attentive and took great care of our well-being. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with a lot of love for detail, and the beds are very comfortable – we slept wonderfully. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful view of the lake, which we could enjoy every morning. The location is pleasantly quiet but still ideal: in just 15-20 minutes on foot you can reach the island. Perfect for a relaxing break – we will be happy to come back!

Top location with access to a public swimming lake (free of charge). You are far enough away from the lake so as not to be harassed by bathers and close enough to walk quickly. The apartment was super clean and newly furnished. Family Paulsteiner is always responsive and very helpful. Bicycles can be easily stored. To shop you need your car or better a bike. The location is predestined for this. From our apartment we had alpine and lake views. It can't get better. We'll be back.

Annette is very friendly and has made our stay more pleasant with many small, personal touches. The apartment was just as described and very clean. We immediately felt comfortable and had arrived "home." The surroundings are exactly as we hoped. Quiet, close to the lake with the possibility to experience beautiful bike rides with smaller children. If you are looking for a modern “chic-chic accommodation,” you should not rent the apartment. For everyone else who values cleanliness, tasteful and functional furnishings, plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen, the accommodation is an absolute insider tip! The balcony with a small lake view is perfect for 4 people to end the day with a glass of wine. We will be back!

The apartment is very nice and modernly furnished, you feel right at home. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook simple dishes. The apartment is also very child-friendly. Glad to come back.

The location of the accommodation was very good, Bregenz city and harbor were within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The hostess was always super nice and helpful. The view from the balcony to the lake was gigantic. We will be happy to come back.

My daughters, 13 and 15 years old, and I felt comfortable from the first minute. Everything as described! Very nice landlady! Super location! We will be happy to come back!

Wasserburg is small, quaint and everything is wonderful within walking distance. Bakeries, butcher, farm produce shops, bio shops, restaurants, fish shops, pharmacy, banks and the train station all within a very short walking distance. easy access to the 2 bigger cities Friedrichshafen and Lindau/insel. lovely to just walk through to the surrounding villages too. excellent base camp

Tina is truly a magical person with an outstanding ability to welcome people into her home! You feel right at home and are surrounded by wonderful nature! I didn't want for anything!
