This farmhouse is absolutely beautiful ! Bill (property manager) was conveniently on site when one of the couples from our group arrived and went through everything and answered any questions we had. Located right off the OFSC trails, close to the scenic ice caves, and with use of heated garage for snowmobiles made our weekend very relaxing after a day of riding the local trails. Our group of 8 had tons of space to relax and unwind. I couldn't imagine staying at this property in the summer and not being able to find something to do.

Great place for winter, very peaceful. The size fits 6 people comfortably and is well equipped for everything we needed. The best part is the Scenic view of the lake and forest from the living room.

Timber Sands was everything we hoped for in a honeymoon location. Only 15 minutes from our reception at the Emadale Community Centre, it was the perfect spot to start off our honeymoon. We particularly loved the high quality amenities, including the kitchen appliances, the comfy leather couches and the super comfy mattress. I really appreciated the cotton sheets on the bed and the fluffy white towels. The atmosphere here is wonderful if you are looking to enjoy a sandy beach that draws you from the deck down to the water and is a great place to feel you are getting away. Every detail was thought of and the cleanliness was 10/10, with great attention to detail. You will not be disappointed booking at Timber Sands. Thank you Marc and Sue for a great stay! Oh, and my husband says he appreciated that all the light switches were labeled!! 👍😊

Andrew was such an amazing host! When we arrived at his cozy comfortable cabin, we were welcomed with a fire in the wood stove! It was a little chilly so having a fire started for us demonstrated Andrew’s kindness & thoughtfulness. There was firewood ready too, when we needed it. His cabin was exactly how we pictured it from the photos and description. Being there away from everyone and noise was heaven. The cabin has everything you would require! I was impressed with the fridge, stove and kettle- We are used to a bare cabin, so Andrew’s cabin is luxury. The outhouse was very clean! The beautiful creek had copious cold and clear water running and I loved boiling the water… that was a great experience. Andrew was also so kind in having some water ready for us so that we didn’t have to haul! Thank you Andrew!! He provided us lots of information about the history of his land and the cabin. We all loved walking on his property especially our doggies! We felt rejuvenated! We will be back!
