Property as described. The host responded very quickly when I had issues. Unfortunately, the train runs nearby but the good news is that it’s not as active at night. Something to consider if you’re a light sleeper. Laundry in basement which was different than what I’m used to. It’s a cute house though that’s well disguised.

Water Place fit our needs perfectly! We were able to be together as a larger family under one roof for our family Christmas. The well stocked kitchen was a huge help, and we enjoyed the peaceful river views.

We had a lovely stay with family who was all in town for a wedding over the weekend. Lots of space and everything was as described. Would recommend if needing a place in Charles City or surrounding area.

Had a great stay at John's cabin. Great view of the river and just very quiet and peaceful. Great spot to watch nature. John was very responsive and check in was very simple. We will be back.
