Our 1 bedroom Cottage Annex on our family farm overlooking the North Sea and Firth of Forth, is perfect for that quiet getaway. Pets are allowed. We are within minutes of the beautiful coastline and are just 50 minutes south of Edinburgh city. With separate bedroom, ensuite shower room and lounge/diner, this Annex has a small fridge, an inverter microwave oven, a 2 ring hob and a 32" TV. Wifi is available. Locally, we have great food and world class diving, surfing, golf, cycle paths and walks.

Newtonlees Cottage-A hidden gem!

Peaceful and homey self-contained accommodation - a separated annexe to our home. It is on the outskirts of Dunbar but within walking distance (~25 mins). Tucked behind new housing but your back garden is private. We are close to beautiful beaches and golf courses. Fresh milk, butter, cereals, coffee and something to toast are provided. Ideal for exploring the Lothians /Northumbria, or to just chill. Farm track road so please note the lower end of the road is prone to potholes in sections.

The little lodge is set in a wildflower paddock nestled beneath a native woodland copse. French windows open out onto a decking area with wonderful views over the undulating Berwickshire countryside. The Lodges’s open-plan layout consists of a living area with sofa bed and kitchen/dining area with wood-burning stove. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. We booked this cottage because we were intrigued at all the 5 star reviews and we were not disappointed. A beautiful secluded location right by the sea and very peaceful, just what we were after. It was such a delight waking up to the sound of the birds every morning and opening the door to find the sea right there on the doorstep. The cottage is in a small row of fishermen’s cottages but we hardly saw anyone else the whole time we were there. A magical week all round, thank you Debra and Stuart.

We had a fantastic stay at The Grange Woodhouse! The property was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, less than a 10-minute drive to the beach, where we enjoyed beautiful coastal walks and even went on a rib boat ride where we spotted dolphins! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, looked just as photos. Everything spotlessly clean. All you could need was provided for (towels, kitchen utensils etc). Enclosed area both front and back of cottage. Washing line at the back too. Great communication from host too, quick and helpful responses. Had a little trouble finding it due to postcode covering a large area, but asked a friendly local who was very helpful and then found it no problem. Messaged host about local places to eat and was recommended the Cross Inn in Paxton (about 15-20 mins walk away) which was a great little place and a delicious dinner. A very peaceful location, surrounded by fields. Our little furry friend loved it too! Would absolutely stay here again 😀
