I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!

It is a super location. view is exceptional and quiet. You have to cross the dirt road for a while, but that's worth the effort. Wake up in the morning with all the birds and the nature around you. The boat trip we were allowed to do with viktor was also fantastic and great to experience. We had never seen dolphins so close and 2 more species. Thank you Viktor

Brilliant cabin in the forest, completely secluded but only a few minutes walk to the beach, the hiking trail and a nice park for kids.

We had a great stay at Steven’s place. He was very accommodating about us checking in early. The cabins are pretty new. Everything was clean and there was lots of space. There was a kettle, which, as English people, we loved! Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. A very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying with Javier in Drake Bay, and it was an great experience. The accommodation was cozy and well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of comfort and a rustic charm. Javier was an exceptional host, always welcoming and eager to share his local knowledge, which greatly enhanced my stay. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area, with easy access to nearby beaches and national parks. I highly recommend staying with Javier for anyone looking to experience the warmth of local hospitality in Drake Bay.

Super nice place in a quiet location. Corresponds to photos and description. Rebeca was very friendly and helpful and the two dogs were extremely friendly and always greeted us nicely in the morning. Vanillia (one of the two dogs) even accompanied us to the beach in the evening and showed us everything😅. We felt right at home. :) 500 m away is a beautiful beach that we had all to ourselves. Unfortunately, the waves are very high there. There are even nicer alternatives to swimming in the area. Really breathtaking surroundings! The description is somewhat misleading because you are not in the jungle, but rather on a small farm. However, you have to be aware that the apartment is completely open on 2 sides and is only protected with mosquito nets. This is beautiful during the day, but in the evening when the insects come, everything has to be closed and even then one or two mosquitoes make it into the house.

At Andy’s place the adventure comes to you. People pay to be taken out into the jungle for tours to see wildlife that showed up in our yard with no effort. The road to matopalo is rough - can’t be passed without 4wd. I wish we’d had higher suspension in ours but we managed. Stop at the bakery and the BM supermarket in PJ for food and stock up. There is no reason to return to PJ during your stay at Andy’s if you have enough food/drinks. Bring coconut oil for your legs to prevent sand fleas (this applies to all Costa Rica) deet also works but natural is better. I would call the experience *top notch glamping* you’re really outdoors and one with nature the whole time. Unbelievable surroundings with a bed and pillows, hot running water and a working range. Perfect for my family who’s used to campervan camping. Backwash bay was perfect for swimming. Andy’s place was perfect for watching surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Keep an eye out for bioluminescence after sunset!! & THE SWING AH!

The cabin very sweet and comfortable with amazing attention to detail. We came over Christmas and new years and there were seasonal decorations, even the dish towel was festive. Functional WiFi, air conditioning, parking right next to the place made it very easy to unpack luggage and convenient. Homely and comfortable, felt like luxury camping. Very welcoming hosts.

A perfect stay! The host was remarkably attentive, always available with great communication. The instructions were very clear. The accommodation is neat, clean and very pleasant. The area is beautiful, and the value for money is unbeatable. I highly recommend it! Thank you!

One of the nicest accomodation that I have been to. There is a large garden with a wonderful view. Everything looks like on the photos. Definitely recommending.

if your passing through San Vito or looking for a quiet mountain town to put your feet up this is the place. My husband and I were backpacking for the last 2 weeks and loved Danny's home. The house was builtwith so much character and love. The views are beautiful. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone.
