I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!

The cabin very sweet and comfortable with amazing attention to detail. We came over Christmas and new years and there were seasonal decorations, even the dish towel was festive. Functional WiFi, air conditioning, parking right next to the place made it very easy to unpack luggage and convenient. Homely and comfortable, felt like luxury camping. Very welcoming hosts.

Het is een super locatie. uitzicht is uitzonderlijk en rustig. Je moet wel even over onverharde weg heen maar dat is de moeite wel waard. sochtends wakker worden met alle vogels en de natuur om je heen. Ook de boottocht die wij met viktor hebben mogen doen was fantastisch en geweldig om te mogen meemaken. wij hadden nog nooit dolfijnen gezien van zo dichtbij en dan ook nog eens 2 soorten. Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollen Ausblick - perfekt für den Sonnenuntergang. Besonders schön fanden wir den kleinen Strand, der sehr nah an der Unterkunft ist und die vielen Tiere die man von der Terrasse beobachten kann. Im Preis ist auch ein sehr gutes Frühstück inbegriffen. Auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst zuvorkommend und haben uns immer geholfen.

The location was ideal for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area, with easy access to nearby beaches and national parks. I highly recommend staying with Javier for anyone looking to experience the warmth of local hospitality in Drake Bay.

Super schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Entspricht den Fotos und der Beschreibung. Rebeca war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch die beiden Hunde waren extrem freundlich und haben uns morgens immer nett begrüßt. Vanillia (einer der beiden Hunde) hat uns abends sogar mit zum Strand begleitet und uns alles gezeigt 😅. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. :) 500m entfernt ist ein wunderschöner Strand, den wir ganz für uns alleine hatten. Leider sind die Wellen dort sehr hoch. Es gibt in der Umgebung aber noch schönere Alternativen zum Baden. Wirklich atemberaubende Umgebung! Die Beschreibung ist etwas irreführend, weil man sich nicht im Dschungel befindet, sondern eher auf einem kleinen Bauernhof. Man muss sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Wohnung zu 2 Seiten hin komplett offen und nur mit Moskitonetzen geschützt ist. Dies ist tagsüber wunderschön, aber abends wenn die Insekten kommen, muss alles zu sein und selbst dann schafft es die ein oder andere Mücke ins Haus.

At Andy’s place the adventure comes to you. People pay to be taken out into the jungle for tours to see wildlife that showed up in our yard with no effort. The road to matopalo is rough - can’t be passed without 4wd. I wish we’d had higher suspension in ours but we managed. Stop at the bakery and the BM supermarket in PJ for food and stock up. There is no reason to return to PJ during your stay at Andy’s if you have enough food/drinks. Bring coconut oil for your legs to prevent sand fleas (this applies to all Costa Rica) deet also works but natural is better. I would call the experience *top notch glamping* you’re really outdoors and one with nature the whole time. Unbelievable surroundings with a bed and pillows, hot running water and a working range. Perfect for my family who’s used to campervan camping. Backwash bay was perfect for swimming. Andy’s place was perfect for watching surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Keep an eye out for bioluminescence after sunset!! & THE SWING AH!

Un séjour parfait ! L’hôte a été d’une attention remarquable, toujours disponible avec une excellente communication. Les instructions étaient très claires. Le logement est soigné, propre et très agréable. La région est magnifique, et le rapport qualité-prix imbattable. Je recommande vivement ! Merci!

Wunderschöne ruhige Oase:) oh es ist uns schwer gefallen dieses Paradies zu verlassen. Wir haben uns so wohl dort gefühlt. Das Haus war gut zu finden u liegt privat. Das Tor zum Garten war leicht zu öffnen u man konnte das Auto sicher auf dem Grundstück parken. Das öffnen der Haustür mit Key-Code war easy. Das Haus ist sehr modern nachhaltig eingerichtet. Toller Style we loved it:) Nachhaltiges Konzept. Keine Bedenken wegen den Insekten. Das Haus ist zwar open Space, aber die Fenster sind mit Insektenschutz u jeder hat ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett. Die Betten sind voll bequem. 2 coole Terrassen zum Frühstücken mit Blick auf den grünen Garten. Wir haben den ganzen Tag dort verbracht. Tukane, Papageien, Falke Schmetterlinge, so viele Tiere zu beobachten. traumhaft schön und ruhig:) Ein wirklich gut sortierten MiniSupermarkt nicht weit weg direkt an der Hauptstraße, der echt alles hat. muss man sehn. Vielen Dank für diesen entspannten Ort. Wir würden immer wieder kommen:)))))

if your passing through San Vito or looking for a quiet mountain town to put your feet up this is the place. My husband and I were backpacking for the last 2 weeks and loved Danny's home. The house was builtwith so much character and love. The views are beautiful. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone.
