The hostess was super friendly, we got a super quick response to everything. Drake Bay itself nothing so special and doesn't suggest much. The room and bathroom were super clean. The downside is that the shower was just freezing cold, which was less... And it is very noisy, until 3 am the bar had played music from next door, but after such tiring days in Costa Rica you would sleep right through it 🤣

The house is great and Jim, Elaine, and Scotty were very welcoming. The house was clean and well furnished, and had a nice open layout. It is very solidly built, with poured concrete bars and benches, which the photos did not do justice. The shower has a natural stone and gravel floor, and hosts a family of friendly halloween crabs, which we thought were fun. A troop of spider monkeys also wandered through the trees over the house several times a day. The closest beach is mosly rock, but Pan Dulce, a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away, is a beautiful sand beach.

Andrea and Christophe's kindness, helpfulness, and generosity are amazing. The place is as described, with the 2flames cooker even better. It is not easy to find and the last street bumpy, but in the adjacent forest there were sloths, toucan, ara and monkeys from the great terrace. We loved staying there longer!

Very cozy home would definitely stay again. Communication with Alison was very swift and easy. We stayed with two small children and they loved it too. Nicely decorated and cozy for those rainy afternoons. The hot water was a little bit fickle, took a day to get used to and the pillows of the large bed could be better but that were only minor inconveniences. Recommended!

Beautiful place in paradise. Super close to the beach, with a beautiful balcony to watch hummingbirds and potentially other birds. The soda close by was great too:) Absolutely marvellous sunset and due to its proximity to the beach you can stay, walk the beach and/or swim after pretty much everyone already left, listening to the howler monkeys and sounds of the waves. I went diving the next day and pick up from one beach over was possible by boat, very convenient! If you arrive walking on the drake bay hiking trail finding the path to the accommodation can be tricky, but there are friendly helpful people everywhere:) And if you ask the hosts up front for help I am sure they’ll provide you with extra info. I was only there for one night but really enjoyed it ! The hosts were super very friendly too!

Beautiful room with amazing views over the Boruca valley. Very friendly and humorous host Marita. A committed relative took us through the whole village and showed and explained to us how the indigenous tribe of Boruca lived and lived. You can have breakfast and dinner at Marita's. Only problem: On the last 300 m, the gravel road is very steep. If you don't have a four-wheel drive vehicle, you have to drive up with a lot of momentum. If you don't catch the narrow driveway right away, turn the wheels and it is better to drive the whole slope back down and get new momentum

Listing as described. Stéphanie Carolina and her mom are very responsive when needed. The forest behind the house allowed us to observe many birds, including the red macaws that are very common here. Puerto Jiménez is close by and the city is lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

Great value, I would just recommend having a 4x4, too far from Bahía Drake on foot. The host is adorable, his restaurant is super good, the accommodation is clean, it's nice, we saw lots of toucans in the garden which is much more beautiful in real life than in the photo. You also have access to hammocks and a small outdoor kitchen with fridge.

We loved this Airbnb! Alvaro is an excellent host, get in touch with him regarding anything you need -activities etc -we recommend snorkelling ! Drakes bay is an amazing, beautiful and enchanting place. From the balcony you can watch the sunsets whilst sipping on an imperial beer. Really good location next to all the restaurants and bars. The place has everything you need, cold showers, air con, gas hob cooker etc.

Michaele is a kind and caring man. He picked me up by car when I got off the boat, on the main beach of Bahia Drake without this being planned! The accommodation was simple but charming, and the nights spent in it to the rhythm of the sound of the waves were truly magical. Sublime view a few meters above the accommodation, authentic warm place, I recommend it!! 🤗🙏

Victor was an awesome host and his place and surrounding property is very peaceful loved that feeling while there. lots of sounds from nature it was awesome. Highly recommend it

This is a lovely place. The views from the cabins are beautiful, and you can hear the sounds of the sea and the jungle at night. The staff are friendly, and Michaele is a helpful host who provided us with useful tips. . For those who enjoy being close to nature, this spot is a good choice.

Beautiful, clean place and the sounds of nature were out of this world. You can hear the crashing waves at night and the birds in the morning, making for the most peaceful sleep. Many things to do and lots of restaurants nearby. I do wish the host was more responsive but it was difficult reaching them and they never answered messages on Airbnb, preferred to communicate on Whats App, and even there were not very responsive. We had difficulty finding the place as the address link made it seem like it was in the water and we asked for a pin/additional instructions, which we never received and had to rely on a local restaurant to direct us there. Other than the lack of communication, it was a great stay and overall would highly recommend.
