We felt like family when we arrived and they were so kind and wonderful throughout. The tours they offer are amazing. Would absolutely stay again if given the chance.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of Pavones. The house exudes real poetry, with its cabin atmosphere and its old surfboards in decoration. The large rooms are very nice. Moshe is warm and made us laugh!!

Great place to stay in Drake Bay! Super peaceful - perfect if you want to relax and enjoy the nature around. The cabin is surrounded by trees, and we spotted toucans, iguanas, even some macaws right from the terrace, which was amazing. The host is really kind and takes great care of the guests. You’ve got everything you need here. There's even a washing machine and a spin dryer, which is super useful in this humid part of Costa Rica. If you're coming to Drake, this place is a great choice.

If you’re looking for a version of Costa Rican river living this is it. Affordable with an extremely attentive owner and staff. We especially enjoyed our kayaking and hiking trips. Thank you, Carlos!

We used Vistadrakelodge to stay in Drake Bay on our way to and from an overnight trip to Corcovado Preserve. We stayed a relaxed extra day after, swinging in the hammocks on the deck overlooking the sea. It had lovely views of the sea, birds and monkeys in its gardens and trees. And much enjoyed air conditioning! Emilio was great, met us at the boat from Sierpe to take us up the short hill from the beach, even though it would have been an easy 5 minute walk. He offered to take us to his farm to walk in nature but we were too tired to take the offer. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. He can also help arrange local boat tours and arranged our return trip back to Sierpe. Easy walk to several restaurants in town and the beach.

We spent 5 nights in Drake Bay in March 2017 : 2 nights close to the Drake beach in Agujitas and 3 nights in Casa Drake. This place is very peaceful ! Edward, our host is very kind and warm. This is a lodge built and drive by a family and all this family will help you to spend a really good moment in Osa Peninsula. This place is quieter than other lodges close to the beach in which you can be disturb by motorcycle. Edward will help you to plan your trip in Corcovado Park, or a horse ride to a beautiful waterfall ! And Edward's mum is the best cooker that we met during our trip in Costa Rica ! Her breakfast and dinner are absolutely delicious ! Well we spent a really good moment in this lodge and I hardly recommand this place.

Amazing room in a small hotel, we felt at home right away. They did not communicate with us via the app, however we just dropped by the hotel, and despite booking only about 15minutes in advance, they were ready to check us in. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and patiently explained everything about the local tours and what to see in the area, and she even contacted a few local operators to ask about options and prices. Regarding the room, it was spotless clean and nicely decorated, very welcoming with a comfortable bed and had everything we needed. Also it had the nicest terrace adjacent to the room, with even a sofa, that we used as much as we could in our short stay. The only point of improvement to the room would be the bathroom door that didn´t open fully without hitting the toilet basin, which made going in and out of the toilet a bit strange, and perhaps the breakfast was a bit basic, but definitely recommend this place overall, great sleep and great stay!

Thank you very much, a clean and tidy room, a delicious breakfast and a very friendly treatment. It was a great experience after a day of travel from the capital and a lot of walking around shopping.

Andre’s place is definitely stunning! We came from Drake bay, the boat drop us close by, Andre and his uncle picked us up by car. The wooden cabin hides among the palm trees and flowers, parrots jumping on top of the almond trees. In the back of the cabin we have a beautiful open meditation room. Facing the wild. We even observed Tucan during dinner time! The hotel also offers free kayak, you can paddle all the way to the ocean... a paradise waterfall is also near by. Everything here reminds us how free and beautiful life is. Last but not least, Andre and his family are wonderful. Thank you so much!

Super nice hotel, very comfortable, clean and with lots to do.

The cabin is in a small and laidback resort. There is a yoga shala, and the staff can help with booking tours and more. The location is very remote (twenty minute walk on the beach), so it's adviced to pack light. It's also a beautiful place, with a big private beach but also in the jungle. We observed all kinds of animals, including macaws and monkeys. There are no nearby restaurants, but there are meals in the resort at extra cost. All in all a great place, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could.

We only stayed a night but Lily was great. She welcomed us really warmly, the place is a litte off but really sweet and idyllic. We wish we could have stayed longer. She was also really flexible about the Check in and out.

Lagunavista Lodge is a fascinating place with the private deck for our bungalow overlooking the natural lagoon. From there we could see crocodiles surface and then disappear - ominously...But in actuality our favorite parts of our stay were our guided trips led by Freddie kayaking on the lagoon while birding, and fishing, and searching for crocodiles after dark! Greg and Keiko are friendly and helpful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners spent with them and the other guests. Highly recommended!

Great place very clean, a warm welcome. The only small downside would be that there were three of us and dishes for two. I would recommend this beautiful place.

Our experience with this place was absolutely unique. Located in one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica, with breathtaking views you'll want to remember forever. The owner is a true heart who puts not only energy, but also a big heart into his space. Not only did he help us plan a trip to the jungle, but he also shared valuable tips that allowed us to get to know the area from a local's perspective. You could tell that he really cares about the guests. For the price, we got more than we expected – an authentic experience, friendly atmosphere, and views that could compete with those from luxury resorts. If you're looking for a place that has a soul, I definitely recommend it. This place is a treasure!
