The Jaguar's Jungle Lodge is a beachfront, off-the-grid ecolodge right next to the ocean so you can fall asleep to the sounds of waves and the rainforest. Our property boasts 130 acres of primary rainforest to explore right on the border of the Corcovado National Park. In order to arrive, you must take an hour and a half boat ride from Sierpe, or a 20 min boat ride from Drake Bay. The boat leaves Sierpe at 11:20am and Drake Bay at ~12:30pm.

New Life Birding Paradise

Nueva Vida is a quiet place located on the edge of the Corcovado Forest. The house is located 4 km from the El Tigre entrance, famous for bird watching. The last few kilometers are easier in a 4x4 but accessible with a regular car. The town of Puerto Jimenez where you will find many shops and restaurants is a 20-minute drive away. You have a bedroom with private bathroom as well as access to the pool and rancho with equipped kitchen.

You'll love Surf House Pavones because of the waves (of course), the people, the ambiance, the nature around you, And the great vibes. The place is good for couples or solo adventurers. Our place is totally vegan, meaning animal products can't be inside the space. there is no kitchen to use.

These guys were great and very responsive. Message them via WtsApp, and don't wait for replies on Airbnb. They sent us a car from the Drake Bay airport ($10/person). The room was clean and the view in the morning is stunning. There was a spider and some geckos in the room at night, so just be careful to leave everything closed and zipped when you leave the room. There's for from 5am-9pm in the hotel, which was really convenient. There are some steep stairs to get to the beach or into town - just FYI. Overall, great experience.

After a rustic overnight stay in Corcovado we were even more thrilled with the room, space, bathroom and the location here! The rooms with ocean views and the balcony were perfect for relaxing in the chair or hammock. The staff was 10/10 attentive and the restaurant and bar was very convenient if you didn’t want to venture out. The location could NOT be better too, just a short walk to the boat pickup for any excursion and multiple restaurants. Highly recommend!

Los Cotingos Ocean View was delightful and we got great exercise each day walking the steps. You must be in decent physical shape! We did a snorkeling trip, a guided tour through the amazing jungle and hiked to some fabulous beaches and restaurants. The breakfast area was amazingly beautiful and we could watch boats in the bay and colorful tropical birds. Our host gave us a nice little kitchen area, adjoining our living area, that we could make coffee in, keep food cold in the fridge and heat up leftovers. When the boat dropped us at the beach Able and others were there to help us get our baggage to shore and up the steps. And they helped again when we left. We were close to the lively village which was perched on a dusty, dirt road. It was strange that some restaurants were very popular, others hardly any customers: we felt sad for those with slow business. The best restaurants were scattered around. Fun to explore everything. Not what I expected - I’m going back!!

The place was magical. So beautiful. It is definitely a destination and a journey to reach. It is very private and remote. The hammock on the porch in front of the ocean will be a memory i will cherish for a long time. The food was yummy and the service was great. The staff was very helpful, kind and attentive.

Andre’s place is definitely stunning! We came from Drake bay, the boat drop us close by, Andre and his uncle picked us up by car. The wooden cabin hides among the palm trees and flowers, parrots jumping on top of the almond trees. In the back of the cabin we have a beautiful open meditation room. Facing the wild. We even observed Tucan during dinner time! The hotel also offers free kayak, you can paddle all the way to the ocean... a paradise waterfall is also near by. Everything here reminds us how free and beautiful life is. Last but not least, Andre and his family are wonderful. Thank you so much!

great place, staff is very friendly and attentive. You can see so many animals in the yard: monkeys, iguanas, macaws, frogs, crabs, and so much more. We even saw a Tamandua! The guy who does the nightwatch was especially friendly and seemed to love animals as much as we did, and would point them out to us. Wonderful highly recommended place and I believe we will come back!
