Located in a quiet neighborhood five blocks from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and 11 blocks from historic downtown Menomonie. Offering two bedrooms and one bath, along with a full daybed and a twin trundle, easily sleeping seven people. Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

The Whimsical Cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable! View of the lake through the wall of sliders was beautiful and peaceful. Hosts communicated clearly and quickly. There is a coffee press but no coffee pot, so if you’re a coffee drinker may want to bring your own. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend!

Such a peaceful lake-side escape—quiet, tree-filled, and perfect for unwinding. The trail down to the pond is steep but in a fun, adventurous way, and the view at the bottom is worth it. The driveway was a bit rough from recent rain (a few washed-out spots), but nothing you can’t handle with a little caution. It’s nature doing its thing. Overall, a cozy, tranquil spot that’s great for relaxing and reconnecting. Would absolutely come back!

Surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful and it was a great location, not far from destinations but just far enough to have a quiet retreat that felt like home. We had an awesome getaway at Robb’s place. It was peaceful, so gorgeous, and seemed much larger and nicer than the photos. It was also very private, and we enjoyed access to the kayaks. The bed was comfy, as was the whole space. We would definitely recommend the Airbnb to others, and would stay here again if we can! Thanks for a great accommodation!
