What a delightful experience we had staying at this beautifully renovated former schoolhouse in Church Town, Donegal! From the moment we arrived, the charm and history of the building were evident, blending seamlessly with the modern comforts inside. The thoughtful renovations have preserved the character of the original structure, with the high ceilings, large windows, and the warm, inviting atmosphere creating a perfect balance between old and new. The surrounding landscape of Donegal, with its rugged beauty and tranquility, made for a peaceful stay. Yet, we weren’t far from activities, shops, and other necessities. My stay at The Wee House was just perfect, an absolute gem of a property. Small but perfectly formed in every way ... except perhaps the shower which is a little cosy :o) ... But nothing could detract from the magic of this beautiful little home from home. The location is perfection itself, quiet, peaceful, beautiful. The property quaint, beautifully maintained, all you could need for a hiking base, quiet retreat or time away. Host was very responsive to messaging, helpful in terms of directions and advice and the property provided all that it advertised. I will definitely be back.

3 generations of my family stayed here 5 nights over Easter. This house had everything we needed and was well designed, well equipped and cosy. The welcome pack was lovely. It is perfect for children. The family are next door but leave you to your own devices. However, their children played with ours and they made friends. Lovely house. Lovely family. Loads to do in the area. Perfect for families with children. Highly recommended.

This was the most gorgeous stay for my solo trip to Donegal! The place was immaculate and I felt very comfortable. Highlight was watching the Sunrise from the gable window! Shall definitely be back!
