Beautiful location on Ålesund's outermost island, close to sea and mountains, with beautiful views over fjord, mountains and the Sunnmørsalpene. We live in the house ourselves and share the laundry room in the basement. We use this as little as possible when visiting. From this apartment you have easy access to everything Ålesund city center has to offer. It is located on the 4th floor without an elevator, so be prepared, here the buttocks will get a workout. There are beds for 7, two of which are on the sofa bed in the basement. Despite being so close to the city center, it is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood without transit traffic.

Want to stay in a real Art Nouveau building? This building was rebuilt in Art Nouveau style after the city fire in 1904 by architect Einar Halleland. From this central accommodation you have easy access to whatever it may be. The apartment is bright and great, and it has a very central location just off Gågata (Kongens gate) with a short distance to all of the city's amenities. Nearby you will find a grocery store, shopping mall and city park. The apartment is spacious and has a good layout.

We rent out our house when we are away 😊 Kitchen, TV room, living room and two bedrooms; one with two single beds and the other with a double bed (160). It is also possible to make a bed in the TV room if needed. NB! Low ceiling (but all the more cozy). Our cat, Ginger, lives here too 🐈. There is a direct bus to Ålesund 50 m from the house (about 20 min travel time). Otherwise, it is 10-12 min by car to both Ålesund city center and the airport.
