Farmstay vacation rentals in Gironde estuary

Wer sich in einem gemütlichen, sauberen und dekorativen Haus entspannen möchte ist bei Mael genau richtig. Der Wohn und Essbereich ist sehr gemütlich, die Küche modern und das Sofa gemütlich. Wir haben sehr viel Freude beim Kochen gehabt, vor allem der Backofen hat uns gefallen. Jedes Schlafzimmer wurde individuell gestaltet und die Betten sind sehr gemütlich. Alles wurde liebevoll eingerichtet, wie in einem Hotelzimmer. Die Badewanne im oberen Geschoss war unser absoluter Favorit. Im Winter sich ein warmes Bad zu nehmen, mit einem leckeren Duft, schöner Musik und einem Glas Wein, das ist WELLNESS!!! Draußen hat man die absolute Ruhe, genau das was wir lieben! Man hat absolute Privatsphäre, und das Mael direkt nebenan wohnt, ist ein Vorteil, wir haben uns sicher und wohl gefühlt. Die Städte Langon und Libourne sind nicht weit entfernt, sie zu erkunden lohnt sich. Bordeaux ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Weg dorthin ist problemlos. Fazit: Das Haus von Mael ist ein Traum!!!

We had a lovely ten days, with three generations of the family coming together in this beautiful location. It made a great base for us to explore the surrounding sights and a quiet place to relax when needed.

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Tijdens onze doorreis hebben we één nacht in dit fijne huis mogen verblijven. Het huis is knus en sfeervol met een prachtige tuin waar je helemaal tot rust komt. De omgeving is rustig en erg mooi, perfect om even bij te komen. Susan en Daniel zijn ontzettend lieve en behulpzame hosts. Vooraf kregen we uitgebreide informatie toegestuurd wat enorm handig en prettig was. We voelden ons meteen welkom. Zeker een aanrader!

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

Nous ne nous sommes pas vus (très court séjour) mais les échanges ont été agréables. Dominique a été très arrangeante. Le gîte est très bien, rien à signaler. Je recommande !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Malgré le temps maussade à notre arrivée, nous avons passé une très bonne soirée autour du poêle à bois et une très bonne nuit. Le dôme est très cosy. nous avons pris le petit déjeuner dehors au grand air, au soleil avec une une vue imprenable sur la vallée.

Très bon séjour dans cette belle et AUTHENTIQUE maison de famille au charme indéniable. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3/4ans : les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable/terrain de pétanque du jardin et la ferme pédagogique à proximité, nous les adultes nous avons adoré la grande cuisine conviviale et la salle de bain magistrale avec vue sur la campagne. Petit bonus pour la vaisselle : quel plaisir de manger dans de jolies assiettes vintage ! La maison est très ancienne, elle était donc un peu humide à notre arrivée (rien de surprenant vu la saison) mais une fois la cheminée lancée et la maison aérée, tout était normal. Bilan : un séjour campagnard paisible et ressourçant, merci beaucoup Katy 💚

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

Excellent week-end dans cette maison magnifique. Il y a une vue magnifique sur les vignobles, et la piscine et le jacuzzi rendent le séjour encore plus agréable ! La maison est très confortable, et impeccable. Sonja et sa famille sont adorables, très à l'écoute et toujours réactifs ! Mille mercis à eux pour avoir rendu mon week-end d'anniversaire aussi réussi !

We had a wonderful stay at Inge’s farmhouse which is obviously a much loved family home from home, along with beautiful artistic touches. The pool was gorgeous and it was a delight to swim with an uninterrupted view of the vineyards. Our kids enjoyed the swing, volleyball and pool inflatables and we enjoyed the various places to sit outside. Inge and her family were fantastic hosts and shared lots of local info and recommendations for days out and things to do.

c'est notre deuxième séjour chez Emmanuelle et nous sommes autant ravis que la première fois. la maison est très joliment décorée tout en étant très fonctionnelle et bien équipée. les extérieurs sont magnifiques et il y fait bon se détendre. nous reviendrons avec plaisir. merci encore à Emmanuelle de nous avoir si bien reçu.

Lovely place surrounded by vineyards. Great pool and large house made it ideal for a family. Our hosts were so helpful and responsive.

Un séjour au top avec des prestations supplémentaires bien agréables. Anaïs a été super réactive et attentive à nos attentes. Nous avons passé un super moment, la plage de Montalivet se trouvant à 20 min en voiture, nous avons pu en profiter au maximum !

We had a fantastic vacation at this most beautiful home. Lots of space, decorated with great taste and really nice furniture, a huge park and beautiful surroundings. At our welcome there were even fresh flowers (lily of the valley) on the table in the living room. What a lovely touch! The hosts are super nice, accessible in case of need, and discreet if you want to be by yourself. We immedeately felt at home and had a wonderful time. The house itself is just stunning. It felt to us like a time capsule we were so lucky to be allowed to live in for ten days. And everything was sparkling clean. Our kids (9 and 11) had a great time, too. The hosts were most charming and child friendly. They showed us around the estate, invited us (and the children) to roam and even feed the horse on the meadow. All in all, this was the best holiday experience we ever had (and we had a bunch of fairly nice ones so far). A huge thank you to Marie-Laurence and Daniel. We would love to go there again!

Un endroit merveilleux, paisible et ressourçant. Un joli cadre pour passer un moment agréable. Stéphane et Sylvie sont des hôtes réactifs et accueillants. Le petit plus : des conseils avisés pour découvrir le patrimoine des lieux telles que les églises de Montaudon et de Parsac. Nous reviendrons...

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cette villa nichée au cœur des vignes, avec une vue imprenable sur la Gironde. La maison est un véritable havre de paix, sans voisinage immédiat, tout en étant à quelques minutes seulement du village. Spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, elle a su parfaitement accueillir notre famille de 8 personnes. Chaque détail a été pensé pour offrir confort et convivialité, et le cadre apaisant a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cette villa pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. A notre niveau nous songeons à y séjourner cet été pour profiter de l'espace piscine qui est incroyable!!

Thank you so much Maria and Damien for a wonderful weekend - everything was just perfect. The chateau was beautiful, in lively surroundings and extremely well equipped with lots of lovely touches throughout. The wine tasting was phenomenal and it was great to be able to purchase the wine straight from the comfort of the kitchen. Maria and Damien were amazing hosts, very responsive, giving great tips and offering so much flexibility to make our trip as great as could be. The dogs were so lovely too! We enjoyed being able to walk the quieter country roads nearby, including to Haux village to the nice Auberge. We really hope to come back soon.

Nous étions 2 et avons passé 1 mois dans le logement. L’endroit est très calme et reposant. Le logement est très fonctionnel et bien agencé. Nous avons eu un petit problème pendant notre séjour et Elise a été très réactive et a trouvé une solution en un rien de temps. Je recommande fortement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Cécile. Le logement est spacieux, très bien aménagé, très calme et à proximité de la ville et de la mer. Les vélos sont un plus, nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'en profiter. Peut-être une autre fois. Le petit jardin est bien appréciable. Et la communication avec Cécile parfaite.

J’ai séjourné chez Régis et Candice avec mes deux enfants de 2 ans et demi et 4 ans et demi. Régis et Candice étaient très amicaux. Ils nous ont présenté leurs animaux, que nous avons eu la chance de nourrir. Mes enfants et moi avons passé des moments magiques dans cette ferme.
