Vacation rentals with beach access in Gironde estuary

Lovely, spacious and well equipped hideaway with a great deck overlooking the little marina of La Hume. Easy walk to the beach and the train station for access to Bordeaux or Arcachon.

Adored the property and the attention to every detail..its extremely comfortable both inside and out. The area is extremely peaceful and a lovely walk across the park (with lift) to reach town centre/beach and ferry for Cap Ferret. Plenty of local restaurants and lovely daily market to buy fresh food. Parc ornithologique is a lovely area to visit and Dunes are astonishing..despite being busy every day there was plenty of relaxation. Merci beaucoup.

Perfect stay! The apartment facing the sea was beautiful, very clean and in a peaceful setting. It went very well, I highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation, quiet and as described, very clean and very bright. Attentive host. Parking on site is a plus, the lack of a washing machine is the only problem... We had a great time in this quiet neighborhood of Royan, equidistant from the city and the beach.

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos, very clean, well-equipped and carefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to everything you need, while being quiet and pleasant. Fleur is a caring and available host, ready to answer any questions and give useful tips to make the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in a comfortable and welcoming place. If I have a chance, I will come back without hesitation! 😊

Very nice stay, we were greeted by Romain on arrival, very nice, friendly and very helpful host. the accommodation is very functional and equipped to accommodate families with a baby and children which is really a big plus. We also met Laure who didn't fail to greet us. Very attentive hosts, very clean accommodation in a peaceful and very well decorated place halfway between lake and ocean, spoiled for choice. We had a great time at the Bassin d'Arcachon. The house is ideally located to enjoy the activities of the basin (Vélodyssée, oyster farms, towns, etc.). The accommodation is functional and pleasant for the older and younger (petanque, swimming pool, ping pong table, etc.). The accommodation is perfectly suited for a group of 9 people, each has their own space. Estelle and Annie were available, accommodating and punctual for check-in and check-out times. We recommend this listing and look forward to visiting the basin again!

Jenifer's accommodation has been tastefully renovated. The amenities are as qualitative and numerous as a main house: hair dryer, washing machine, oven, kettle, in short everything is there. you can access the beach in 2 minutes by bike, 5 minutes on foot, happiness.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

Very cute little town apartment, really close to the center and a short walk to the beach. The added bonus is the pleasant terrace with curtains to shelter from the sun. We had a pleasant stay and the host responds very quickly

Accommodation with a great view, close to the various bars and restaurants in the city. The apartment was ergonomically furnished, leaving plenty of room for the living space during the day (bed and folding table on the wall). Excellent amenities, impeccable cleanliness.

We had a pleasant stay at Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their beautiful terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Their tips for visiting the area were very helpful. Thank you both for the little treats too. We highly recommend it.

Very well located apartment (on the beach and close to the city center by bike), well arranged and well equipped. We were able to enjoy the balcony which is nice (and perfectly oriented to enjoy the sunset). Parking space and bikes are very appreciable. Our host was very responsive and we were welcomed by his parents who were lovely and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We thank Valerie for her responsiveness and kindness in welcoming us and giving us useful information. We took full advantage of the panoramic terrace which offers a beautiful view of the pool and the possibility of filling up with iodine air in peace. The location of the apartment allows you not to use the car and to be in the city center in a short 1/2 hour walk.
