Monthly Rentals in Gillamoor

Lovely stay over the Easter weekend! The house was spacious, well equipped, and had all the comforts needed for a sociable family night in. The bedrooms were all comfortable and we had two great nights’ sleep, and the en-suite plus main bathroom was a real bonus given there were 6 adults. We used the property as a base for exploring the local area, visiting Helmsley and Kirbymoorside and Rosedale Abbey over the weekend, and it was a perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. Helen’s instructions were clear and she was proactive and always on hand to answer any questions. Overall a great stay, and we’d definitely book again and recommend!

Great value for money. Walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. A lovely base for our day out at flamingoland. The cottage was well equipped. Would recommend.

We didnt meet Ailsa for our two night stay but she was really responsive on messages and we loved our stay at the Bothy. The bothy was spotless and everything we needed for our short visit. The views and surrounding area was beautiful. We found the best cafe in Helmsley called the feather trail cafe which did amazing breakfast and coffee (highly recommend) we also did some short walks around the area too but would love to come back for more longer hikes too.

Unbelievable stay, just what me and the girls needed for a chilled weekend. We did a fab walk from the Airbnb to Hutton-le-hole and lastingham which was about 18k and would highly recommend. Matt’s home was definitely better than we thought it would be, spotlessly clean and great kitchen, dining and outdoor area for the four of us. Could have easily stayed a week and we will for sure be back and recommend to friends.
