Beautiful location, great hosts, very helpful. If able, definitely recommend the motorbike/scooter tour Thanh offers and also hiring a scooter yourself and going exploring the surrounding mountains. great place, clean rooms. there is an indoor pool and a pool table in the public area that can be used. the host was helpful and provided us with useful suggestions and also helped us book Limousine Van tickets. overall nice place!

The place is right near a water body and very close to pagoda. It’s a very beautiful natural layout with amazing home made local food and good local beer. The care taker though can’t speak English but uses google translator for effective communication. It’s feel awesome to have a cup of coffee near the lake. The hospitality is also awesome and room is big, clean and spacious.

The host and his family are so peaceful and friendly. We always greeted each other with a smile. Clean toilets and bedding allowed us to have a good rest. When I turned on the water, I was briefly startled by the thud of the water tank, but it was fine. The sound of chickens and birds outside gave me a rural atmosphere, so I was able to relax. Thank you very much! And I have a very cute kid! very very pretty and cute And also the host allowed us to store our luggage. Thank you very much

I spent a lovely few days here exploring the area. The room was great and Quang, his family and everyone else were incredibly kind and helpful. It is a little out of the way (25 min by motorbike to Tam Coc) but I highly recommend it if you want a quiet place to come back to and relax at the end of the day.

What an amazing place to stay! Mountain Side is such a beautiful family run homestay, with delicious food, great recommendations for near by attractions, comfy beds, and great extras such as the pool, pool table and dog and cat! Our family of 4 loved our stay, and look forward to returning 💛

Great place to stay and chill. Anna was clear with her instructions and helped us all along the way from arranging the cab, helping us reaching the location. Guiding us with great options to plan our trip. It was a friendly environment where we got w chance to chat with his husband about the history of the area. The home is as beautiful as the photos and description of the host. Nice host. Only the day I came to the child, the owner did not have a house, the water was out so it was a bit inconvenient. This issue was fixed later. If you need a quiet spot to rest with your family and relatives, this is also a reasonable point. From here go to Tam Chuc Pagoda about 30-40p drive.

We loved staying in this wonderful Bungalow! Anna and her Family were super sweet and helpful, gave us tips where to go and what to visit, were super flexible with the Check-in and had great breakfast:) The place is really sweet and it really feels special!

Nice little cosy hotel. Room was spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). Bed was comfortable. All in all clean (not super-clean). Pool was clean and kids enjoyed it. You can rent a bike for little money and explore the area. Restaurants in walking distance. Host are very nice. We liked it!

We had an amazing time staying 2 nights at mountainside. The hosts are so helpful and provide you with so many recommendations! They also offer a bike and scooter rentals which made our travel around Ninh Binh super easy. The location is beautiful and super peaceful and the room was big and clean with really good aircon! Couldn’t recommend enough.
