Beautiful location, great hosts, very helpful. If able, definitely recommend the motorbike/scooter tour Thanh offers and also hiring a scooter yourself and going exploring the surrounding mountains. great place, clean rooms. there is an indoor pool and a pool table in the public area that can be used. the host was helpful and provided us with useful suggestions and also helped us book Limousine Van tickets. overall nice place!

The place is right near a water body and very close to pagoda. It’s a very beautiful natural layout with amazing home made local food and good local beer. The care taker though can’t speak English but uses google translator for effective communication. It’s feel awesome to have a cup of coffee near the lake. The hospitality is also awesome and room is big, clean and spacious.

The host and his family are so peaceful and friendly. We always greeted each other with a smile. Clean toilets and bedding allowed us to have a good rest. When I turned on the water, I was briefly startled by the thud of the water tank, but it was fine. The sound of chickens and birds outside gave me a rural atmosphere, so I was able to relax. Thank you very much! And I have a very cute kid! very very pretty and cute And also the host allowed us to store our luggage. Thank you very much

What an amazing place to stay! Mountain Side is such a beautiful family run homestay, with delicious food, great recommendations for near by attractions, comfy beds, and great extras such as the pool, pool table and dog and cat! Our family of 4 loved our stay, and look forward to returning 💛

The home is as beautiful as the photos and description of the host. Nice host. Only the day I came to the child, the owner did not have a house, the water was out so it was a bit inconvenient. This issue was fixed later. If you need a quiet spot to rest with your family and relatives, this is also a reasonable point. From here go to Tam Chuc Pagoda about 30-40p drive.

Nice little cosy hotel. Room was spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). Bed was comfortable. All in all clean (not super-clean). Pool was clean and kids enjoyed it. You can rent a bike for little money and explore the area. Restaurants in walking distance. Host are very nice. We liked it!

Our stay here was perfect. Vân was extremely welcoming and allowed us to check-in early which was greatly appreciated! The accommodation is very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The location is very central and is lovely and peaceful... the pool was an excellent addition! I The included breakfast was very filling and tasty. We had an amazing time staying 2 nights at mountainside. The hosts are so helpful and provide you with so many recommendations! They also offer a bike and scooter rentals which made our travel around Ninh Binh super easy. The location is beautiful and super peaceful and the room was big and clean with really good aircon! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Central place for activities in the surroundings, welcoming host, possibility to rent a scooter for 150k/day (€5). Breakfast included!

Overall, we had a great stay at Ninh Binh Mountain Side Homestay & Cafe! The hosts were really friendly with lots of recommendations, the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast included was great with a range of options to choose from. We also rented bicycles and a scooter during our stay for a very reasonable price! The location was perfect - easy to get a Grab from the bus station, walking distance to restaurants/cafes and a great base to explore Trang An and Tam Coc areas. The school next door can be a little loud in the morning playing music, but this didn't bother us! Would highly recommend :)

I stayed for 3 weeks and it was perfect ! Probably the prettiest place I saw in Vietnam, it's a little green paradise. The restaurant was good, bungalow was clean and cozy, and the team was kind and helpful. 100% recommend, would definitely stay here again! The cooking class was fun too !
