Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ghent

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

It was all fine. Especially that bikes were there for use and the little garden. The location was quiet and pretty and not far from the center. Highly recommended.

What a lovely space! The house is tucked away in a quiet street, yet easily walkable to the city centre. The interior is beautiful, filled with natural lights and plants. Spending time in the house was very relaxing- such a treat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay!

We were super satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and the friendly welcome from Kris. The apartment was very nicely and cozily furnished. Spacious and homey. Nice garden and spacious parking for the car. Thanks Kris for the good welcome. If we need to be in the area again, we will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute! Geert and Carine were great hosts- we even got fresh strawberries, eggs and every day corn to feed the cute alpacas 😍 highly recommended, especially for families with kids. Thank you!!

Staying at Sabrine's cottage was truly a highlight of my trip to Belgium. She’s a kind, genuine, and welcoming host, and her home is full of charm and warmth.

the house is decorated with great attention to atmosphere. warm welcome and departure. we were there for 1 week and did not get bored. in risult itself there is nothing to do, but there is a lot of peace. there is also an outside and we were allowed to use the garden. everything just as atmospheric. the house has been recently renovated and equipped with every comfort. a top location and a nice host.

Great location in Ghent, right above the Waterhuis. Great views of the canal, cathedrals, and Gravensteen Castle. The place was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ghent. The location is great and easily walkable to the city center. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. If I were to critique anything it'd be that the place is a bit cluttered. But all in all, if you are in Ghent, this is a great place.

Excellent studio apartment, spacious, with large windows. Very clean and elegant. Very comfortable bed. Central position with beautiful surroundings. Close to public transportation. Easy to comunicate with Filip! What else can you ask for?

This is our second stay at Dirk's place and we love it... feel very much at home with lots of space. It's just out of the enough to not be in the middle of the crowds, but close enough to jump right into whatever you are doing in Gent.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. Easy to travel to and from; a simple journey from the main station. A spacious and pleasant place with lots of character.

The accommodation was in perfect condition, as described and impeccably clean. The accommodation is well located in relation to the city center, you can get there on foot or by bus. Communication with the host was smooth and the instructions very clear. I would recommend this property for a few days with family.

We spent a long weekend in Bert's charming flat. The location is excellent, most of the sights are within walking distance. There are also great cafes, restaurants and shops around the corner. The balcony overlooking the Leie is very nice. The flat is stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Bert was very communicative and friendly.

I had a great stay in Antwerp. Sjack is a fantastic host and his place is wonderful. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plus, it’s well located to transportation and an easy walk to most anywhere in Antwerp. I highly recommend this apartment!!

Hilde’s place was perfect for a Ghent city break! Super easy to get to from the main train station by tram, mere meters from the tram stop and a delightful walk along the canal into the old town. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend, old town was so busy with people it was so nice being able to go back to Hildes peaceful place at the end of the day after exploring!

Great location in the outskirts of Ghent that we were looking for. Very quiet neighbourhood, always had free space to park right in front of the house. Good connection to the city centre with tram stop less than 5 minutes walk away. Lidl close by, few takeaways and Brasserie. The property was well looked after with massive living room and kitchen which I very liked, small cosy balcony at the back. Highly recommend this place and the host. If I come back in Ghent one day I definitely will be staying there.

Our stay was great! We picked it as it was central to the many places we wanted to visit throughout Belgium, though it’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. Condo was very clean and spacious. Only comment would be if anyone has limited mobility, the stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms are a little steep.

Well designed and comfortable space. Most enjoyable visit. Crisp clean linens, plenty of towels.
