What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

We were absolutely wowed by this beautiful villa. Tania greeted us in our arrival and showed us round - she was super helpful despite our lack of Spanish! Tania was on hand to help with any questions we had. The villa is well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a family stay where we cooked and played games. The pool, pool-house and garden were fantastic and we enjoyed the sunshine. Lovely views of the hills and cows in the distance. The villa was absolutely spotless. The villa is a fairly rural location and a car would be beneficial (as Tania describes in the listing). However, we enjoyed the 20 minute walk to Lidl and taxis were available into the city. Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

Una apartamento muy bonito y estaba todo impecable. Solo al entrar tiene un aroma buenísimo. Lleno de detalles como el café y galletitas para el desayuno, champús etc muy recomendable

Spacious, charming, and impeccably located. We truly felt at home, rather than on the road, during our stay. You can’t ask for a better vantage point to explore both sides of the river. We loved the natural light and fresh air from the balconies, the only downside was the road noise from the buses and the mosquitos that flew in. We were grateful for a small washing machine and drying rack. Would gladly return!

The apartment was gorgeous and had everything you could need! The hosts were super responsive and communication was very clear. The location was perfect for both getting the train into Bilbao and walking to local beaches/supermarkets.

Das ist eine Wohnung der Superlative! Sehr geschmackvoll umgebaut und eingerichtet mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht auf das Meer und Hafen. Allerdings muss man diese Wohnung erarbeiten: drei enge, steile Treppen hinauf mit dem Gepäck (!) aber es lohnt sich. Am Hafen ein kulinarisch hochstehendes Restaurant. Auch Check-In hat super geklappt.

Todo ha estado estupendo. El piso magnífico y Paul súper flexible con las horas de entrada y salida. Espero poder volver!

Anfitrión muy amable, atento y contesta rápido. La casa super limpia y ordenada....zona tranquila y muy cerca de todo. Si tuviera que poner algo negativo ..es que es una zona difícil de aparcar

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The place is stylish, clean, and very comfortable. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and there’s a grocery store and a lovely playground right next to the building — perfect for families. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance, and the neighborhood is peaceful and picturesque. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. We truly felt at home and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns bei Magda und ihrer Familie super wohl gefühlt. Magda ist so eine herzliche Person und wir haben ihre Kochkünste sehr zu schätzen gewusst. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, vor allem das Bett und hat alles was man braucht! Wir empfehlen sehr, von Magdas marmalade zu kosten... Köstlich!! Und dann die süßen Vierbeiner, wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Juan’s place was perfect, we could not fault it. We had two small kids, with a stroller and found it easily accessible by lift. We rented a mid-sized car and were able to use the car park without too much hassle. Juan and Paula were super friendly and helpful throughout. The location was fantastic for exploring Bilbao, while also offering a quieter neighbourhood and beaches nearby. The apartment was spotless and cosy, with beautiful views and the double bed was the most comfortable we have slept in! 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Getxo! Loved the neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars. Really nice space and easy to get into Bilbao as well. Thank you!

El apartamento estaba súper limpio y tal y como aparece en las fotos. Muy bien situado en una zona con muchos bares y restaurantes pero cero ruido. Y la zona, desde luego, preciosa.

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

Que gran estadía ,con nuestra familia nos sentimos como en casa Iñigo es un gran anfitrión nos dio una gran bienvenida con pastel y vino . Nos recomendó muchos lugar . Su casa es un espectáculo. Todo estaba tal cual en las fotos . Volveremos pronto ! Recomiendo este lugar.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et conseillés par Mercedes. Le logement est grand et confortable à deux pas des lignes de bus et de métro pour aller au centre ville. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos enfants.

We stayed at Roberto's place on our trip to Bilbao and we loved it. It is not in the centre of Bilbao but it is right next to the metro and can be in Bilbao city centre/old town very quickly. The flat was tidy and had everything we needed, including a nice outdoor terrace area to relax on nice summer evenings. To address what other reviews have said, it is a bit loud at times but we never had any trouble when it came to bedtime and often found ourselves enjoying the noise of the hustle and bustle of the Basque streets. Parking was a little difficult but we always managed to find a spot. Roberto was very communicative and helped us find the apartment easily. Overall we would recommend this as a place to stay for your trip to Bilbao

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.

Eine uuuuunfaßbar tolle Wohnung mit nem sensationellen Blick auf die Bucht mit den Wellenreitern 🌊 ❗️Echt mal was Besonderes!!! Wir sind 2 befreundete Paare (mit Mietauto) und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Einfach super! Das Wetter war nicht so fein und haben deshalb abends auch mal in der Wohnung gekocht - in einer gut eingerichteten Küche . Supermarkt, Restaurants und Besuche in Bilbao, San Sebastián und Santander waren gut erreichbar. Josu ist ein feiner Mensch! Kontakt über sms und persönlich ist perfekt, leicht und unkompliziert.
