Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!

Most picturesque and most peaceful location with breathtaking views of the village and the lake. The unit was very comfortable and had everything one might need during vacation. We had rental car so it was easy to get around and to visit cutest neighboring villages. Drive to Lucerne is about 40 min away and returning to the peaceful Air B&B unit was just so satisfying. We had a great time visiting and would absolutely love to return. Visits from most gorgeous orange cat can be counted as an extra bonus🐈🫶 Danke 🙏

Superb host. Beate was friendly, helpful and really made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. She picked us up and dropped us off at train station and made lovely cheese fondue for us on arrival. Just a marvellous person. The chalet is beautiful and has view of lake. It's an easy walk to beautiful village of Getsau with nice cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The location is superb with amazing views. It is very quiet, as it is the very last house at the end of a long climbing road, for which you need a special permit to drive. The facilities were more than adequate to keep us warm and comfortable. Everything we needed to cook was provided in the kitchen. I thoroughly recommend 'Ferienhaus Bergruh'.
