Cottage vacation rentals in Georgetown County

The house is in a very quiet gated community. The pool, lounge and tennis courts are directly out the front door. There were ample supplies in the home, even K cups for the coffee maker. The hous is well maintained and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Great experience. Also close to many restaurants and grocery stores ( 5-10 min by car)

Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

Eric and Leslie's cottage was in perfect condition and in the best location for our needs (close to pool, tennis, golf, and wedding we were in town for). Their instructions were so detailed and the binder left on the counter had everything and more. We really appreciated the organization, convenience, and friendly response. Thank you both! We loved our cottage stay! It was quiet and peaceful. The property manager gave us helpful instructions and tips for things to do around the area. She was extremely friendly and very responsive. The cottage itself was beautiful inside and very clean. It had everything we needed, which I appreciated very much (eg, salt, pepper, foil, sandwich baggies, toilet paper, paper towel, etc). The pool was very close and we took a walk around the neighborhood in the morning to see the beautiful oak trees with Spanish moss. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you!

Very responsive and helpful host- the property is small, but worked for our family of 4 with two small children. The location of this property was AMAZING, very private and quiet lane and a very short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed a beautiful week with my son, his wife and two grandchildren. they loved the golf cart rides and the pools. splash pad was awesome. private beach access was wonderful plus May was perfect weather

Maria’s place was very comfortable and really spotless. She made our dog very welcome too. Easy check in and great communication. We had a really nice stay.

This place exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, Matthew was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and the place was pristine! We loved drinking our morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the colorful azaleas. My kids loved the 2 twin bedroom and walking to the golf course. The pool was not open yet but is a great amenity to have so close by. It was a super easy, short drive to the Marsh Walk where we enjoyed food and drinks. If I ever find myself in Murrells Inlet I will stay here again and I would recommend to everyone!

We had a great time at the campground. Our golf cart broke down one of the nights and we got a response immediately from the owner and they rented us a new one for the rest of our stay. We really appreciated the quick response and help. We will absolutely stay here again.

I booked this spot for my daughters 13th birthday. We had a fantastic stay here! The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and they really went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs. Highly recommend!

I felt at-home, the place was clean and as described. I do feel like this home was overcharged. Why? The money taken from my account before a conversation was had about the pricing or concrete decision to stay ( I initiallyasked was it availableand was charged immediately, in addition to me being charged for the days I stayed I was charged another $100 for early check-in when the place was not occupied. There were a few roaches but nothing a little spray couldn't handle and I felt like my $100 should have been returned because of the pest issue, other than that the place is nice and a good location from the beach waters.

The stay was wonderful. Jill was very hospitable. Access to the beach was fantastic. Very near to all the happing places in Murells inlet. The home was very clean and well cared for. Thank You.

Tony was very hospitable from the moment we arrived. From the beginning all through our stay we felt like we were visiting family. He gave us a tour along with recommendations on local attractions. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, safe and close to wherever you need to be. I would absolutely stay there again in the future!!

Janis, Calvin , & Cynthia were all a joy to work with! The welcome gifts were delectable and every attempt to make our stay special was exceeded. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage holds a peace from the past that is hard to find today. Janis did an extraordinary job in incorporating modern comforts but leaving the integrity of the original cottage and time in place. Well done and thank you. We stayed for a month here and enjoyed our time.

This place was everything and more. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends traveling to Myrtle beach! I grew up going to ocean lakes as a kid and this is the best home I’ve ever stayed in! It was clean and welcoming! It had fun games to play if it rained, with all the items you might need for cooking! The coffee machine was ready to go even before we made a trip to the grocery store! Truly a wonderful home. Dedra was super responsive when I had user errors with the golf cart and questions about the check in process. Don’t wait, just book it!

This was a great place for our family of 5! The space was very homey and had everything we needed. It was nice to have towels included. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions I had and were very helpful during our stay. We hope to stay at their place again in the future!

Our stay at The Lookout was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Martin only because housekeeping called off (hey it happens). The place was pristine and beautiful. The living room overlooks the salt water marsh full of birds, crabs, and oysters; it has an amazing view of the sunset. The location is wonderful! It was an EASY WALK to the beach, less than 5 minutes. We brought our own beach items since there really aren't any for use. That's okay. At least there is a hose to hose down sand. Overall Martin's place had plenty of room for the 8 people that stayed. Each couple had their own room so we didn't feel like we were living on top of each other for the week. I recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back in the future.

We loved our stay at Cottage By the Sea! From the proximity to the beach, nearly private pool, and everything we could need inside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My family and i absolutely loved this location. The house was in a great spot and very well taken care of. We would stay here over and over again. The added bonus of the golf cart was icing on the cake.
