Vacation rentals with a patio in Gaiole in Chianti

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

We loved our stay here. The hosts were responsive, and the place was very well situated- walkable to the center of town (up a big hill). It was nice and quiet, beautiful garden, lovely cooking facilities.

Although there were a couple of issues with one tv and the washer dryer, Teona, Ivanna's property manager was always responsive and followed up to see that issues were resolved. We thought that the apartment was very beautiful and the neighborhood felt safe. It was quiet, and some of Ivanna's recommendations for restaurants were pe.rfect. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

I can’t say enough about our hosts! They were communicative from start to finish and our experience would not have been the same without them. Our favorite part was doing the cooking class and having dinner with them and their family.

We originally planned to stay at Bryan’s place over the weekend just to explore nearby Florence, but the charm of his home completely stole the show. Florence felt like the cherry on top instead of the other way around. Nestled in a huge, lush garden bursting with hundreds of flowers and all kinds of trees, and staying in a cozy apartment that felt like a little museum, we had such a wonderful, memorable experience that left us feeling truly happy. Bryan was not only super friendly and easy to talk to, but also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Next time we’re in Florence or any nearby town, there’s no question - we’ll be coming back here!

Great stay with incredible views. Perfect location for exploring Montepulciano and the surrounds. Parking was easy and everything was really comfortable.

Vittoria is a wonderful host! She is very kind and accommodating . The apartment is pristine clean and enjoyable. Their are high ceilings lots of space and the AC works like magic. Thank you for your hospitality! 🙏

Where to start? I truly can't say enough good things about this property. It exceeded expectations in every way. From start to finish, our time here was a delight. Amanda was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location is remote, and a bit of adventure to get to, but Amanda had communicated that and we were prepared with the proper rental car that made it a breeze. The house is beautifully appointed, has every amenity, and lots of perfect spaces for both quiet moments and areas to gather with your group. The outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely, beautifully landscaped, and the views are spectacular. Book this place; you won't be sorry.

Nice little place to stay in a very nice neighborhood, very quiet location. Unfortunately, I only stopped for one night, but it is certainly worth staying longer.

We visited family in san giovani vdo and wanted to stay nearby. Niccolo’s place was perfect. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. We loved the outside patio. Beds all comfy-we slept very well. Bottle of wine to greet us was greatly appreciated. Shower good. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Duddova is a small, very quiet place – ideal for those seeking relaxation and seclusion. We were allowed to spend 3 wonderful weeks in Emanuele's lovingly renovated house – and it was even more beautiful than the photos promise. The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of space to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful garden and the fantastic view from the terrace as well as from the bedroom and bathroom. The view across the valley is simply priceless! Check-in and check-out were absolutely straightforward. The property is very private and designed with a lot of love for detail – a real oasis of tranquility. The location is ideal for exploring the surroundings and attractions – a car is essential for this, however. Communication with Emanuele was always warm, quick and helpful. Such a peaceful place to stay! The house was spotless, the views were amazing, and the pool was lovely. We had such a lovely time. The local restaurant is a real gem too. Just to note you should buy lots of bottled water (not an issue as the supermarket is v close!) as the tap water isn’t drinkable.

Everything was just like in the pictures. We had a great time. The view was amazing and Maddalena was really helpful. Thank you!

Anna is very responsive and has good tips for visiting Siena. The house is clean and atypical, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. The garden is very nice. The only downsides are the noise from the highway and the overcrowding and facing the neighboring housing. Despite this, we had a lovely stay at Anna's cottage and will be happy to return. Siena and its surroundings are beautiful.

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Lorenzo and Luca are two excellent hosts, super helpful and welcoming. Essential accommodation, comfortable and clean, adjacent parking, bus stop, cold table bar, rotisserie, self laundry, near the house. A 15-minute walk from the center and the racecourse for concerts.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The location was perfect - walkable to everything in Florence. The host was very quick to respond and very polite. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean, modern and great for a group of 6. It is a lot of stairs - this was actually a positive thing for us, as we needed a little exercise to burn off all of the pizza consumption haha. But be prepared that you will need to get your suitcases up / down the stairs. Overall we loved this spot and definitely would book it again!

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to spend a few days! It was central to many tours and activities, great for exploring! Luca was a wonderful host and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed. The restaurant was great! I can’t think of anything that would have made our stay better! Completely exceeded our expectations!

Daniela's place in Florence was the perfect balance of a quiet neighborhood and being close to the city center. The apartment was comfortable and clean and was only a 2-3min walk to the tram that takes you right to the city center of Florence where all the iconic sights and food can be reached. The apartment also had had all the necessary amenities for a few nights stay. The laundry machine and drying rack were easily available and were a much appreciated amenity. There was also a lockable, enclosed one car garage reserved for the apartment that we left our car in during our stay. The neighborhood also felt very safe and quiet even at night. Daniela was a great host who was very responsive and friendly and helpful with everything we needed. If you find yourself looking for a place outside the busy city center to stay while in Florence I highly recommend Danielas place!

The apartment was very clean and had a nice terrace. Marcella and Matteo were wonderful hosts, I couldn’t have asked for better communication. They were proactive with helpful information and local recommendations, and quick to respond to questions. We felt very welcomed and would come again!

The highlight of our tour around Italy, simply stunning. The outside area is the obvious highlight; the lovely pool overlooking iconic Tuscan scenery, but the inside is also perfect (didn’t think we’d fully use the two bathrooms but we did!!!). Matteo was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us - he even led the way in his car to help us find the restaurant he’d recommended when we arrived (one of our best meals of our holiday). A truly magical stay.
