Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gafanha da Nazaré

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in Marta’s home! It was beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home! Marta was available and happy to answer any questions we had. She was proactive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The area is gorgeous. Walkable and easy to explore. We hope to be able to come back one day!

WOW - What can you say about this beautiful home? Large home with all amenities available, well decorated and an outstanding host. I highly recommend this house to rent… it’s private, great backyard with many fruit trees, a back porch to set and relax with family and friends. This is house is on my top list of places to rent in the future. Thank you Sr. João.

The hosts were amazing! they made sure we will feel at home from the first day. took care of any issue that came by. they brought us fresh bread every morning. the surrounding is really magical. the only thing that was a bit sucks was the washing machine and the dryer. it was in a different structure with 1 min walk and when the weather is raining its not that easy. other than that everything was fine!

We had a wonderful couple of days staying here. Diogo gave us some excellent recommendations which were spot on.

Beautiful spot with private pool and lots of space to enjoy the sunshine. Really peaceful location with amazing restaurant attached, which I recommend visiting. Isabel was hugely responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Highly recommend a visit!

Perfect house for a few days as a family we had a great time, we are thinking of repeating in summer to enjoy the pool, the hosts are lovely and very friendly

The place is amazing🤩. Very comfortable for 5 people, accessible by car (parking with parking meter on the street). Terrace with beautiful views of Coimbra, old apartment renovated with a lot of class.

A group of friends and I stayed during Holy Week. He was always attentive and available for whatever we needed, the house was very nice and cozy; the property was spectacular, a shame the rain prevented us from using the pool, with hosts like this it's a pleasure to travel, 100% recommended. The home is a great place to just get away from it all and relax. The grounds are peaceful with lots of fruit trees. If you like nature you will love it.

Great stay, nice touches from the host, very nice setting. The house is large, it feels like home. The location is peaceful, ideal for resting, but also for wandering around the area where there are a lot of nice hikes and walks. I highly recommend this place, we had a great trip. We'll be back!!

What an amazing location! This apartment has a large living room with floor-to-ceiling windows that open above one of the nicest little plazas in the city. The sounds of cafe chatter and music drift in along with the afternoon sunlight. And the gelato shop downstairs is killer! The rest of the apartment is also nice, there was plenty of space for our family, and Romeu was helpful and responsive. We were sad to leave. I can only recommend this place!! (If you are driving, keep in mind that you should park across the river and walk the 10 minutes to the apartment-- it's all pedestrian streets and steps, but that's the charm of the location)

A few hours before arrival, we were told that the cottage we had booked was not available due to an electricity failure. Nothing but praise for their communication and they always looked for solutions. They suggested us another house in another area. In itself also a very nice house but it was however not quite our thing. After all, we were looking for nature and peace and quiet. We had reported this and then Viktor sought a solution to have the electricity fixed in the original cottage. And a few hours later we got word that we could move into the cottage. What a cosy cottage, in the middle of peace and quiet, in a small tiny hamlet. Just what we were looking for with our family. Close to the Arouca geopark and a very nice little restaurant Mira Freita where we regularly ate. In one word, perfect hosts and beautiful houses in their portfolio! Thank you very much for hosting us.

David was nothing less than excellent.. he was there greeting us with great hospitality.. Wonderful man.. Great family!

Armando and his partner was extremely friendly and kind from day one . We were welcome into the studio, and the place had everything we needed to make our stay perfect . Little kitchen ideal for meals , comfortable bed and a clean bathroom . The Vila itself is a great place for resting . Delicious pool, pristine green gardens with a very nice barbecue . Armando always made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay . Totally recommend , if you are looking for a relaxing time off , and definitely will come back . Immaculate, well stocked, charming cottage. Beautiful grounds and views. Very private and peaceful. João responds quickly. Unique experience. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect even the small details. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The inside and outside of the property were really well maintained and the swimming pool was an added bonus in a hot sun weather’sday! Thank you Joao for your hospitality and for being so helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again next year and definitely recommend 100%

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.
