Beachfront vacation rentals in Gafanha da Nazaré

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

Memorable stay at Rui's! Flexible check-in and check-out with key box. Townhouse 2 steps from the beach, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Cozy and well-decorated interior with large comfortable rooms. Excellent amenities, nothing was missing. And the icing on the cake: the small terrace of the room with its view of the beach and the ocean! With the added bonus of a very friendly host, we can't wait to go back!

Spacious apartment, very very well-equipped. We feel welcomed by the decorative touches and touches (small slippers await you at the entrance). The host is available to meet expectations. Very professional rental. Only small point to improve, the bedding of the king size bed, otherwise everything else is perfect.

We went with 3 other friends to Pedro's Airbnb and had a great time, a very functional apartment and close to the beach for surfing! Pedro, from the first day of communication, was very kind, giving clear instructions. All the amenities inside were useful and the space outside was nice to eat on sunny days.

Best weekend! The house is simply beautiful and the hosts were amazing and very nice. Everything was prepared for a large group and honestly none of us wanted to leave. Very good vibes, cant wait to go back!

The house is located by the sea (the beach is less than a 5-minute walk away) and overlooks a garden. We had a lovely stay there and were able to easily visit the surroundings (Gaia, Aveiro, Porto). Special mention for Hugo who is very available and provides good advice.

A magnificent apartment in the modern house, with super nice decor. Very stylishly decorated with Portuguese charm! Everything top and clean! Best location, 1 minute to beach, kiosk, bakery and several restaurants with cheap but great food, where even police officers go out for dinner during their break! To the train station 10 minutes, to Porto about 35 minutes. To Lidl also only about 10 minutes. "Quiet" location but in the middle of the locals, the fishermen provide the rest of the authentic flair! We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Felt relaxed immediately. Very friendly & welcoming with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Will definitely return.

Spacious apartment, pretty, in a quiet residence, by the sea, with swimming pools, sauna, gym. the apartment is well equipped, clean , with a balcony with pool and sea view! in October it's very quiet. lots of things to see around ovar and 40 min from port. to improve: mattresses that lack comfort in our opinion (the one in the master suite is very uncomfortable ) , the bedding is very clean however like the rest of the apartment! had a great time with the family Thanks

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

Sjoerd and Joana's house is everything you need to disconnect and feel right at home. Sjoerd and Joana have lent us their beautiful house where nothing is missing. The village of Quiaos and its beach is perfect for resting, walking along the beach and sitting in a beach bar to watch the sunset. From there we were able to make excursions to Porto, Aveiro or Coimbra. The highway connection is perfect. We'll never forget the dinners in the courtyard listening to the sea in the distance. Silence, rest, nature, beaches, tourism all in one place. Don't hesitate to choose this house for your next vacation. Thanks for sharing your home Sjoerd and Joana.

Loved our two weeks in Marta’s apartment. Marta and Costa are great hosts and even made it possible for is to arrive at 1 a.m. They also provided breakfast for the following day. The apartment was perfect for our family of 5 with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The apparent was very clean and well equipped even with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The terrance is very big overlooking the huge pool with plenty of vacant chairs. The location is excellent only a few minutes walking from the beautiful beach and an area with lots of good small bars and restaurants.

First of all, I would like to thank Marta and Leonel for their hospitality. They provide exceptional attention to the comfort of their guests and anticipate their needs. In addition, the nature around the apartments is unique - a magical forest starts right around the corner, huge empty sandy beaches are a 5-minute walk away. Cortegaça is a really small village, but it has the most necessary things by foot: nice beach with showers and drinkable water, a local supermarket with basics and a bakery with good bread. Some disappointing moments also took place. It was mentioned many times in reviews - plz finally renew this furniture on the terrace! A couple of chairs and a table are in terrible condition, and it's better to remove them completely. Also, not our hosts fault, but it was annoying: barking dogs during the night and crazy parking by the locals. Train station is a bit far. All in all, we spent 4 weeks at Marta's place and it was a memorable and pleasant experience. Thanks, guys!

We were only in Aveiro/Gafanha da Nazaré area for 2 days, but the apartment was a great place to stay. I can see it being incredible in better weather - the outdoor area was well outfitted. Unfortunately the storms moving through meant we didn't sit outside because of the crazy wind. Otherwise it was nice, clean, and Carmen & Zita were very helpful and responsive. Thanks!

Took Christine's property as our base from which to attend a wedding and explore near by Aveiro and further. Five kids and adults where in our party who absolutely loved the large heated pool. Highly recommend and I would happily return. Love from Greg and the family. Obrigado!

Our stay at Thiago's house was incredible! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a sunny winter week. We took many walks on the beach and had lunch at a nearby restaurant, which I highly recommend - Restaurant 12. The house is very comfortable and cozy. Thiago's mother is super friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. It was an amazing week!

Definitely lots of space - great terrace. Everything you need and more. Incredibly well equipped! We won't be back for the first time and definitely☺️🤝

This is a spacious, light, extremely well-equipped and spotlessly clean duplex with lovely views of the sea from 2 of the terraces, and morning sun on the other terrace which overlooks the street. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. Communication with Nerieda was very fluid, and check-in and out were very easy, in fact she was there to meet us and show us around when we arrived. Definitely recommended.

We had a very nice stay at Rosa's apartment. There was nothing missing. The kitchen is superbly equipped. The view of the ocean is simply breathtaking.

Rui very attentive, the house is amazing… everything very organized and clean, I see the care and love in every corner of your house! I felt at home… The energy of the place is spectacular. I loved it!

Do not hesitate to rent this accommodation if you would like to visit Porto: by train which is less than a 5-minute walk from the apartment, you are in a good half hour in bustling Porto. But the tranquility of the apartment is blissful, the bustling sea you constantly see and hear is the best relaxation, the blissful location on the beach of Granja is practical, but also the other nearby villages within walking distance such as Aguda and Miramar are worth it... Finally, you will really find everything in and around the apartment you need to have a wonderful holiday. The kitchen is very spaciously equipped, the two bathrooms are very functional, there is a lot of storage space...there is a bakery, butcher and small supermarket 5 minutes walk away, and a larger supermarket 25 minutes walk away...

We had an amazing stay. Beatriz met us at the apartment and was very helpful providing us with tips of restaurants and the local bakery (Barra 99 - delicious bread, coffee, desserts and really cheap). The beach is a 2-3 minute walk. I’d recommend taking a windbreak. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the beach and in town. Local supermarket had everything we needed. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. Would highly recommend and may book again! Thank you 😀
