We had no idea how secluded this cute little cabin would be! The property seemed to go on FOREVER and the view from the Adirondack chairs was stunning at sunset. Adelia sent clear instructions and was very quick to respond to any questions. The cabin was lovely… clean, quiet, peaceful, and “homey.” We hope to come back again next year!

My husband and I relocated to the city and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while house hunting. Desi’s place was the perfect home base. Located in the Heathwood area—arguably the nicest neighborhood in the entire city—it's the ideal mix of charm, convenience, and tranquility. The location is unbeatable, being right across the street from Heathwood Park, and close to all the shops and restaurants on Devine. Desi is an outstanding host! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, providing everything we needed and more. Plus, he has an adorable dog named Marlin, who was a sweet addition to our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re visiting Columbia, I highly recommend staying at Desi’s—whether you’re in town for a short visit or need a longer-term stay.

We felt relaxed from the moment we drove in to this lovely place. We were greated with fresh flowers and spent lots of time sitting on the porches and napping in the comfy beds. We were close to Congaree and even got a discount on kayaking with our stay. The location feels private and remote but is close to the park and strawberry farm and a short distance to restaurants and shows in Columbia. We would highly recommend.
